Beautiful self-catering holiday accommodation with an acre of mature garden and situated in a stunning location on the mouth of the Helford River in Cornwall. Just a few minutes walk from Flushing Cove and Gillan Beach, the property is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and close to the coastal paths. With panoramic coastal views from almost every room, Spinneywood combines quality and style with comfort and luxury and is perfect for a holiday with family or friends or a couple who just want a relaxing break. The accommodation is all on one level, the rooms are light-filled spaces with a modern and contemporary feel. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms with corner bath and separate shower. The kitchen/ dining room is spacious and very well equipped and the two sitting rooms, one with inset woodburning stove, means everyone can really stretch out and relax. Outside there is an acre of garden to enjoy with the Cove and Beach just a short walk.

  • The Bathrooms are fully tiled with contemporary fixtures and fittings and heated towel rails. There is a corner bath and a separate shower cubicle. In the master bedroom, there is a double shower. We've also put in a child's bathroom step.

  • The master bedroom is the perfect grown-up hideway, with its kingsize bed, ensuite bathroom, flat screen TV and DVD. it has both a woodland Creek view and also wonderful views out to sea. The other bedrooms are light and spacious and only the bunk room does not have a coastal.

Location: Spinneywood is situated in a stunning location with mesmeric coastal views from almost all rooms. It is one of the most beautiful parts of Cornwall and has been designated an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Sailng and Watersports: The area boasts some excellent sailing waters. Holiday membership is available at Helford River Sailing Club, who hold weekly races for all standards. Non members are very welcome. Moorings and hiring dinghies & Kayaks are also available at St Anthony. Sailing lessons for children are also available during the summer holidays. Spinnneywood has plenty of parking space for both cars and boats.

Tennis: Courts are available for hire in the village of Manaccan - 5 minutes drive away and the Falmouth Tennis Club have plenty of summer tournaments as well are coaching for children.

Golf: There are two excellent golf courses local to the property at Mullion and Buddock Vean
