Szczawnica attractions:
Szczawnica is located in the scenic valley of the Grajcarek, which is one of the tributaries of the River Dunajec. This uniquely situated valley is the foundation of its mild micro climate created by forested hills, ample sunshine, modest rainfall and clean unpolluted air.
Due to this micro climate and occurrence of mineral springs, the spa town focuses on treatment for respiratory lung diseases and provide chambers for treatment. It’s very effective in the therapy for asthma.
Local activities include skiing, fishing, mountain hikes and biking, rock climbing, paragliding, white water rafting, kayaking, horse riding, toboggan and the main attraction being boat trips down River Dunajec

Mount Palenica with its modern chair lift is a 5 minute drive from the apartment.
Brand new ski lift 15 minutes walk from the apartment.
There are many more ski runs in the area just a short drive away.
