Everything about this very spacious villa exudes class and elegance, and is complemented by the large heated pool and huge terraces designed to maximise the breathtaking views. The huge air conditioned lounge and dining room are flooded with light from the glass topped atrium and patio doors lead out to the huge terrace and heated swimming pool. Barbecue here in the evening and take in the views. The master air conditioned bedroom is ensuite with dressing area. There are 4 further bedrooms, all ensuite, with all kinds of entertainment to keep the children amused whilst you relax outside. A very special villa, one certain to make you want to return again.

What a Fabulous Place

7 of us went on a family holiday and all had a great time, there was loads of space for all of us to do our own thing. Some were in the large lovely warm pool all day, some played table tennisor darts, while some of the group just relaxed in the shade or sunbathed whilst taking in breathtaking views from the patio area. All the facilities to cook a meal for all of us and then sit out in the evening on the patio area, the villa is beautifully furnished and comfotable. We all had good time at the Wednesday Market at the Rubicon Marina where lots of local arts and crafts are available to purchase, good place to buy some lovely hand made jewellery. We went to the Rubicon Marina at Playa Blanca on our last night and had a lovely meal at our favourite Restaurant Afrodite Little Italy. We hope to return again to the Villa later in the year for another holiday.

The villa Floralba is just as you see on the website photo's. Panoramic views, facing south to the sun, spacious, very clean, the only noise we heard was bird song. We used the pool for hours every day and the TV a little at night. (if you watch alot, take your sky card as advised by the owner). If you eat out, try the restaurants in old Porto del Carmen or Porto Calero marina, around 10 minutes drive from the villa. We are going to book again, if we can get a vacancy.

Wonderful Holiday

We stayed at this villa last year and had a wonderful holiday. Weather wasn´t great but it didn´t spoil things as it was our first holiday in Lanzarote and we wanted to explore. The villas was perfectly located with everything within easy reach. Although there was 6 of us, the villa was very spacious with bags of room to find your own space. Beautifully furnished and presented and these views! Lovely big pool for the early morning swim. The owners were the perfect hosts, meeting us on arrival and making sure we had everything we needed for our holiday. They were able to advise us on some super little restaurants we´d never have found on our own. Can highly recommend this villa.

We had a wonderful holiday at this villa. 5 star luxury at its best. No problems with the pool, lovely and warm. Fantastic views! We found the owners very friendly and helpful. We´ve booked up again for next year!

Problems problems!

At face value this is a well located villa with a fantastic view. I got it at low season so it was reasonably priced.
I was assured by the letting agent that the pool would be electrically heated to 29C but during our stay it never hit anywhere close to this temperature. There were a lot of problems with the heat pump for the pool which meant that we couldn't use it for half of the week. To the credit of the owner he did work hard to rectify this problem. Some other issues really annoyed me though.

This is advertised as a 5 bed villa with a playroom but when I got there there owner had closed off half of the villa because we were a party of 4. There was nothing in the ad or contract that I signed stating that he would do this. He did say that we could move over to the half that had the playroom and he would shut off the other half but this seemed pointless and extremely petty given that we had paid for the entire house. I have two young children so a playroom would have been excellent and was one of the reasons I rented the property.

The ad also states that there is satellite TV but only after I booked and paid did the owner suggest that I bring my own Sky card. I don't have one so consequently I was pretty much limited to just Sky news. Again, this limitation should have been clearly advertised.

Outdoor towels for the pool area are not provided. The owner suggested that we use the house towels which I found to be a bit tatty. Not what you would expect from a "luxury" villa.

I spent quite a bit of time arguing with the owner for the first half of the week regarding the pool and the play room which is something I could have done without when trying to relax on holidays. I have had quite a few villa holidays and this one was decidedly average. The owner did refund me £40 pounds at the end of the week for the inconvenience caused. I was tired of arguing with him so took it and was glad to leave. I have stayed in truly luxurious villas before. This was not a luxurious experience.
