Photos and Description of this Lierna holiday apartment A self-catering rental with large private terrace and just minutes from the lake

This bright, sunny apartment has a large outdoor terrace (approx. 110sq.m) with lovely views of the lake, two balconies and sleeps between 5-6 people. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed, the second bedroom has a double bed and a sofa bed which sleeps 3 people. There is also a baby bed for small children (up to two years) which is available in the apartment free of charge. The living room, open terrace and the balcony are all face west and enjoy beautiful views of the central part of the lake. The living room comprises of a kitchen, a dining area and a sofa corner. There are two large French doors which take advantage of the panoramic views from the inside the apartment. There is also a secured parking place belonging to the apartment which is available for guests.

  • Cleaning Costs
    There is a final cleaning cost of €70 when staying for one week & €90 when staying for two weeks with all bed-linen & towels included. If staying for two weeks or more – the bed-linen & towels will be refreshed after each week. All utility usage such as water, electricity & gas, are included in the rental price.

    3 night break - 40% off weekly tariff / 4 night break - 30% off weekly tariff / 5 night break - 20% off weekly tariff / 6 night break - 10% off weekly tariff.

    We offer a range of facilities, which are available for hire through our office ‘Happy Holiday Homes’ in Menaggio: Cot Hire - EU 20 per week, High Chair - EU 15 per week, Push Chair - EU 25 per week, Single Camp Bed – EU 85 per week, Italian Mobile Phone - EU 15 per week, Mountain Bikes - EU 60 per week, Internet Access - EU 15 per week, Air Conditioning- EU 80 per week, (only if the property has an Air-Con Unit and you would like to use it), Boat Mooring - EU 150 per week, (only if there is a boat mooring available at the rental property).
  • Payments by Credit/Debit Card or Wire Transfer
    There are no additional charges for credit or debit card payments. However, all bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender. To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our booking form online and pay a 30% deposit. The remaining balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.

Info about Lierna: Lierna is an attractive small town on the eastern shore of Lake Como, about one hour's drive from Como, Milan and from Bergamo airport (listed as Milan-Bergamo by Ryanair) and 16km from the town of Lecco. The imposing peninsular of Castello juts out into Lake Como at the northern end of Lierna, joined to the mainland with the famous long white stretch of sand known as 'Riva Bianca'. In the village centre you can be sure of a friendly welcome at the shops. Let Mario the baker, tempt you with his selection of fresh bread, pastries and cakes. Sit out at one of the bars and cafés and enjoy the evening aperitivo with the locals - a drink and snacks served around 6.00pm daily. Lierna has a supermarket, delicatessen, greengrocer's, florist's and gift shop, a hair stylist, bank, chemist's and post office, as well as several good restaurants and a takeaway pizzeria.

Info about Lierna (Continued): Like most Italian towns, Lierna has many old, close-packed groups of old houses forming a community, often with a small chapel; such as Muggiasco, Sornico and Castello. Take a walk around Lierna through its narrow cobbled alleyways and hidden 'piazzettas' and see for yourselves. Enjoy the view from the newly created lakeside walkway which leads off the main 'piazza'. Lierna has a railway station with frequent links south to Milan, west to Bergamo and north up the Valtellina (www.navigazionelaghi.it) Varenna, ten minutes by car or rail, has frequent ferry crossings to Bellagio and Menaggio as well as a hydrofoil service to Como. In the summertime, there's a daily ferry link to Bellagio from the centre of the village. These good transport links mean that there's no need to bring a car.

I visited Casa Tre Sole with my wife and daughter in October, we had a great time. The apartment we chose was ideal for all the outdoors activities such as skiing and cycling! we were close to a really beautiful traditional town and the views were fantastic i recommended it to everyone on my return
