The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom. It's very spacious, tastefully decorated, has air con, underfloor heating and is ideal for couples and families. It has 2 south facing balconies for private sunbathing. Everything is within walking distance including the beautiful Praia Da Luz Beach, shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Praia Da Luz is the perfect town if you want a friendly atmosphere for a family orientated holiday. Estrela da Luz is a luxury resort situated in the heart of the village, located 5km west of Lagos and less that 200m from the beach. This secure family friendly resort has underground parking and is serviced by a lift. Facilities include 3 outdoor pools, a children’s paddling pool and indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, fully equipped gym, fitness studio, beauty therapy rooms. The resort boasts its own exclusive restaurant, large bar/cafe, serving food all day, snooker room, internet cafe, poolside snack bar and the reception staffed 24/7.

The village of Luz is but a 200 metre walk from the apartment, its a beautifully quaint old village with many restaurants & bars. It has a long promenade walk with a very safe sandy beach. It is most suitable for families and small children. In the heart of the village is an excellent supermarket called Baptista. There are a number of excellent walks along by the cliff tops and are suitable for all ages including mountain bike enthusiasts. The town of Lagos is a short taxi ride away (e8), Lagos has a rich tradition of fishing and maritime exploration, today it's a bustling town with good shopping, restaurants & bars. It has a large marina and is an ideal location to go dolphin watching or explore the caves along the coast. It has a range of night clubs, jazz clubs etc & provides all the night life options for the more young at heart. As Lagos & Luz are more westerly that more well known locations in the Algarve they remain quieter & more peaceful & are well worth a visit.

Golf: Estrela da Luz has three fold courses in the immediate area. Guests can take advantage of discounted rates. Boavista is a 5 min drive, it is an 18 hole, par 72 with driving range. The famous Palmares course is a 15 min drive, it is an 18 hole, par 71, also with a driving range. Both courses are serviced by the resort shuttle bus. Pargue do Floresta is mere 20 min drive, 18 holes, par 72, a PGA academy. Finally Penina is a 20 min drive, this is an 18 hole, par 73.

Praia da Luz: Praia de Luz has a cinema, bank and English speaking medical practices and post office. Other family attractions nearby include a zoo marina, water parks, crazy golf, horse riding and Lagos zoo. Inland are the mountains of Monchique and to the west, Sagres and Cape St Vincent, the most south western points of mainland Europe. Lisbon and Seville are a 3 hour car journey
