What can we say, that hasn't already been said, this was the 4th consecutive year that we've been coming to Cyprus and this Really was the Best holiday, we've ever had! Ron and Dawn, make you feel immediately at home, and their cats Mokie and Sara. They passed on many useful tips, recommending superb sights and places to eat. There is also a folder provided, with masses of information for you peruse at your leisure, which found invaluable.
The accommodation, was truly authentic, and spotlessly clean throughout. It's set in a typical cypriot courtyard, with a beautiful swimming pool, sun loungers, barbeque area, fruit trees, which we were kindly encouraged to help ourselves to and did ;-). Dawn works hard, to keep it in top notch order, and often we came back to find a pile of cherry tomatoes, fresh basil and lemons,. The bed and pillows were very comfy and fresh linen and towels were provided weekly. Fully Air-conditioned throughout, with fitted kitchen with all mod cons, and the iron was the best I've ever used away from home.
Ron and Dawn, really made us feel like one of the family and we shared a great evening together, after they kindly laid on a barbeque for us, the food and wine was fantastic! Fresh salad from their garden, and local produce from the butcher's and fish monger and bakery.
It's a perfect place to relax and unwind, after days spent exploring the Troodos Mountain, or lounging at Lara Beach, along the Akamas Pensula, or shopping at Kato Pathos.
One final thought, to sum up our holiday, 'We arrived as holiday makers and left as very good friends' and we can't wait to see them again!!!
