The Water Tower, built in the late 1800s, is now stylishly converted into an 8 storey building. Further accommodation is provided in the adjoining 2 storey pavilion. This is a property for the discerning traveller and perfect for a longer business trip. The nearby Woolwich Arsenal DLR station is only 2 stops from London City Airport and 20 minutes from Canary Wharf. The building is stunning and has featured in architectural magazines as well as UK national papers. Live in style for a few days or a few weeks. To make your stay more comfortable, our First Class package includes airport transfer, luxury welcome pack and caterers for an evening meal. With 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, open plan living area, 2 kitchens, a lift in the Tower and a moat around it you might not even use the 8 TV screens or WiFi. Within 10 minutes drive you have maritime Greenwich, Eltham Palace and the Thames Flood Barrier. You can walk to the ancient woodlands of Oxleas Woods or be in Central London in 30min.

The Tower is situated on the London Green Chain (long distance walk mostly through green areas) and about a mile south of the River Thames and London City Airport. It is within easy access of the A102(M) which runs to Dover and the Channel Tunnel and near a main road into Central London. Maritime Greenwich, the historic Eltham Palace and the picturesque village of Blackheath are all within 2 miles and surrounding train stations can get you into Central London in 15-20 minutes. Fromthe top of the Tower you can see famous London buildings (London Eye, the 'Gherkin', Wembley Stadium etc) as well as Woolwich Common, Oxleas Wood, the O2 (formerly the Millennium Dome) and glimpses of the River Thames.

Notes: Int he ground floor of the Tower there is a table football / air hockey / pool table. The sound system is wired throughout the building and there are TVs in all bedrooms, both sitting rooms and the main kitchen. Note that there is a second kitchen on 6th floor of the Tower to serve the 3 Tower bedrooms and the observatory sitting room on the 8th floor. There is a separate laundry room with US style washing machine and tumble dryer plus a European style washer/dryer in the Tower. Wheelchair access would be difficult and there are no ground floor bedrooms.

This place is a must. It is pure luxury and very nice for a larger group. The views from the observatory is magical. The owner, Catherine, is fantastic and very helpful. With easy access to London proper everything you would like to see is 40 minutes away. This is a great way to feel like a celebrity, especially when the kids in the neighborhood see you and ask if you are one.
