Located in trendy area of Bastille with all its shops, the best food market in town, cafés, bars and restaurants. 2 minutes walk from the tube to go to the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Latin Quarter. 10 mins walk to Le Marais. If you are looking for a cosy atmosphere in central Paris, this place has it all: beautiful decoration, original wooden floors, equipped kitchen, located in a typical building close to local markets, shops and cafés, you will feel like a real Parisian staying here! Bastille is the area to be. We can give you advices on restaurants and places to go that only Parisians know to make your stay really special.

A great little find!

Just back from a 4 night stay in Christopher and Delphine's superb apartment. Has everything you need for short break in Paris with masses of cafes, restaurants, shops and local amenities on-hand within walking distance. The food market is superb, as is "Le Square Trousseau" restaurant and the boulangerie for pastries/baguettes on the walk to the apartment! The location is second to non for jumping on the metro or strating your days' meandering through the beautiful streets of Paris.

A little noise from the street during the evenings as several bars/bistros open below, but with ear plugs you hear nothing! (kindly supplied). The bed is incredibly comfy and the little, but modern kitchenette has everything you need and more to rustle up a dinner.

Would recommend to friends.

Lovely studio in Bastille

We have stayed here several times now. It is a well-maintained studio and is a good size for a city break with all the amenities you need.

The owners also provide some useful tips for local eateries and bars which are worth following up.

It's a great area with good restaurants and shops all close by. There's also a fantastic local market a few minutes walk away if you want to make your own food.

We'd definitely recommend this to people.

When we were looking for a holiday apartment in Paris we have a list of criteria we were after, one was a centrally located place that allowed us to self cater. We loved the apartment in Bastille as it was such a central location to walk or catch the subway to any part of Paris. We loved the idea that there were so many places close by ranging from the food markets to the trendy shops and cafes that we could basically walk to within minutes. Begining self catered met we could sample the local produce, cheese, wine and be able to store the food for a few days.

A wonderful apartment in Paris

A lovely contemporary apartment recently refurbished in Bastille. Very near a wonderful daily market. A fully vibrant part of Paris without too many tourists, which is a big attraction for us. Very close to Marais/Bastille. Some lovely restaurants and bars even near by. I would highly recommend the Baron Rouge for a glass of red.
Would definitely stay again and very much recommended. An additional extra is that you could be greeted by Domino (the dog).
The one very small quibble would be that the kitchen is really too small to use - but in Paris there are plenty of opportunities for eating out.

Beautiful apartment. Very nicely decorated and furnished. Lovely comfortable bed. In a very lively part of Paris. Lots of restaurants & bars close by.Very centrally placed (we walked to the Notre Dame).
We had a great stay at this apartment.
