Capistrano Village 27. This is a superior quality, newly decorated third floor apartment. Two bedrooms sleep a total of four people. Each bedroom has en-suite facilities. The apartment has it's own terrace with views to the sea and the beautifully maintained gardens and walkways of Capistrano Village itself. Holidaymakers will have the use of the complexes two community swimming pools. Equipment includes a television, washing machine and microwave oven. There is a fifteen minute walk to the beach and fifteen minutes to the town centre, although there is a large supermarket very close, two minute walk, this Supermarket stocks all the familiar produce. There is also a regular local bus service into Nerja every half hour..

Introduction to Nerja. Province of Andalucia.: Introduction to Nerja, Southern Spain: Nerja is on the seashore some 50 kilometres from Malaga, and marks the eastern tip of Spain's Costa del Sol. Once a sleepy village, the town now has a population of over 12,000. Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches with a powdery sand and sparkling clear water. All major water sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing. Flanked by a dramatic mountain range, Sierra Almijara, to the east, the town has, fortunately, managed to avoid being blighted by the concrete high-rise scenario which has been the inevitable result of the tourist boom in some of the other coastal resorts of Spain.The old quarter of the town is still virtually unchanged. The heart of Nerja is it's spectacular Balcon de Europa (The balcony of Europe), a magnificent promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, with sweeping panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the small coves and beaches below. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes.

Lovely clean modern apartment

In previous years I have always booked a package holiday so this was my first experience of booking accommodation and flights independently. I did have my reservations before I arrived as the contact person Tony did sometimes appear vague on the phone, however he always e-mailed promptly with confirmation of my booking and also organised a taxi at a competitive rate which was waiting at the airport when we arrived. My concerns were unjustified as we arrived to find a lovely clean modern apartment with breathtaking views over Nerja and with a stunning sea view. The apartment was very well equipped with kitchen utensils, the bedding was very fresh and beds changed once a week, if I had to mention one criticism - the towels provided were quite small and looked like they were quite old.
The facilities on the urbanization were second to none. -the pool and surrounding area were lovely, clean and the best bit of all was no matter what time you arrived at the pool there were always plenty of sun beds available. There was a small fee to hire the loungers 2.50 euro per day but I did not mind if it meant you would always be guaranteed to get one. The apartment was 20-25 minute walk into town, I love walking so this was not a problem however it wasn't the most picturesque of walks, we always took a taxi home which was 7euro no matter where you travelled in Nerja. The walk to Burriana beach usually took 15-20 mins, this was a pleasant downhill walk, we didn't ever attempt to walk back and again always took a taxi home. Whilst we stayed in the apartment we had a problem with a blocked toilet - Tony and the owner Adrian immediately came out and within an hour the blockage was cleared, we never had another problem so I think it was a one off. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family and would not hesitate in returning to El Capistrano and enjoying the lovely village, pool, restaurant bar and visiting the lovely town of Nerja.
