The Orchard House is an amazingly peaceful secluded property within a five minute walk of the beautiful town of Soller and a 5 minute drive to the beach at the Port of Soller. The house has a modern minimalist open plan interior while combining old Soller charm. It has an enormous gated orchard with a small private swimming pool and a stone Wendy house with full height rooms for children. The huge orchard offers an expanse of space and adventure for adults and children - it is like living in your own orchard parkland offering a sense of freedom and safety for children to explore and adults to settle with a book in any number of the quiet private corners. Several outdoor tables are provided for alfresco garden dining. The house has central heating for winter letting as well as Air Conditioning for the summer.Outside there is a Private Outdoor Pool in the orchard, a BBQ, and a parking space. The lounge opens onto a wide expansive terrace with panoramic views.

Soller is a beautiful mallorcan town set around a large square and cathedral within a mountainous valley of oranges. Here you can relax while having a morning coffee or lunch at one of the many restaurants before you walk down the main shopping street of 'La Luna' then, maybe later, you will catch the old San Francisco tram to the Port ! The port is a lovely horseshoe bay which has the actual port at one side and a gorgeous sandy beach at the other. Coupled with fabulous cafes and restaurants the Port is a beautiful, upmarket and quiet resort surrounded by the Tramuntana mountains. There are many other beautiful places to visit - Deia, with its 5 star restaurants/hotels and A list stars, Valldemossa where Chopin composed a number of his musical masterpieces, Fornalutx and Biniaraix - traditional and unspoilt mountain villages and then just a short drive away the cosmopolitan capital of Palma with great shopping, eating, clubs, yachts and history - its all here!

Surroundings - Distances: The Coast/Beach at Port Soller - 5 minutes in the car. The Closest Shop - 5 minute walk or 1 minute in the car. Valldemossa - 35 minutes in the car. Deia - 25 minutes in the car. Soller Town - 5 minutes walk or 1 minute in the car. Palma Airport - 35 minutes by car/taxi or bus.

Surroundings: The Orchard House is perfectly placed to enjoy the small Mallorcan town of Soller and the mountains with their many walking paths. Just outside you can walk along well marked pathways to the village of Fornalutx where there are some terrific restaurants, Can Antuna, if you prefer traditional Mallorquin food, or Cafe Med if your tastes are more international. The square at Fornalutx is incredibly pretty and once you have made the walk once you will definitely return again. Likewise, Soller, although larger than Fornalutx, is a true Mallorcan gem - a bustling town filled with locals and tourists alike - either going about their daily business or sitting in a cafe in the square drinking a coffee while the children run around the fountain. The Puerto de Soller is idyllic - set around a large bay with yachts to one side and a golden beach to the other. Around the whole area are restaurants for all tastes and you can watch the sun go down over the ocean, drinking a glass of wine !

Orchard House - Family Holidays: The Orchard House offers amazing value for family holidays. Its pool is always a hit with children and the orchard offers great play opportunities along with the stone Wendy house. The beach, a short drive away, has pedalos and kayak hire or children can swim out to the floating raft anchored a little way offshore. This area is part of the true Mallorca - you wont find any major discos in the town or the port and this area has become known for family holidays in true Mallorcan surroundings (no neon lights or arcades to be found) just peace, tranquillity, great restaurants, and stunning views !
