Can Jordan Marino nestled into the hillside of Sa Figuera is a charming, free standing one bedroom stone cottage in the country. A short way from the house is the Port of Soller where you can watch the fishing boats as they return from a day at sea, or admire the large yachts while sipping a cave at a marine side cafe. The cottage sleeps three. One bedroom has twin beds which can be pushed together to create a large double and there is a fan. There is also a sofa bed in the living room which can accommodate a child or third adult. The Kitchen is open plan to the living room which has a Mallorca style rustic fireplace. The living room has over head sky lights and the fire place is a traditional open fire which is great for cosy evenings around the hearth.The outdoor kitchen is fantastic a true Mallorca way to cook with barbeque,oven and gas hob and a choice of a shady covered table for al fresco eating or a sun drenched table overlooking the spectacular mountains.

Can Jordan Marino is situated on a beautiful hillside, nestled between the vibrant town of Soller and the beautiful fishing marina of Port de Soller. The whole area is incredibly beautiful and the Soller Valley is filled with orange and lemon groves, traditional Mallorcan towns with large squares and cafe bars, and there is the beautiful Port de Soller with a marina for yacht lovers and white sandy beaches which are safe for family bathing. The Soller valley is a walkers paradise and we can put you in touch with a local tour company Tramuntana Tours, who can arrange walks and mountain biking. But this area is also the ideal place to come to relax, sit back and take in the beauty of the area. Many other beautiful places are within a short drive, Fornalutx - voted the prettiest village in Spain, Deia - the A list stars hideaway, Valldemossa - where Chopin wrote his concerto's and of course the city of Palma is only a 30-40 minute drive away for exploring it shopping and history!

    Cleaning occurs every 7 nights for longer stays.

    50% of the total amount of your holiday is required as a deposit when you book with the remainder due at least two weeks prior to arrival. Payment is preferred by either a cheque or via a bank transfer.
  • 20% discounts on all remaining bookings for 09
    The changeover day is Friday in order to co-ordinate bookings. We prefer guests to arrive after 3pm and leave by 10am.

The locals of the Soller area all retreat to similar little homes along the mountain range when the weekend comes. This one is ideal as it is very easily accessible yet feels a world away from the busy working lives that we all now seem to have.

Surroundings: Can Jordan Marino is perfectly placed to enjoy the small Mallorcan town of Soller,and the mountains with their many walking paths. Just outside you can walk along well marked pathways to the village of Fornalutx where there are some terrific restaurants, Can Antuna, if you prefer traditional Mallorquin food, or Cafe Med if your tastes are more international. The square at Fornalutx is incredibly pretty and once you have made the walk once you will definitely return again. Likewise, Soller, although larger than Fornalutx, is a true Mallorcan gem - a bustling town filled with locals and tourists alike - either going about their daily business or sitting in a cafe in the square drinking a coffee while the children run around the fountain. The Puerto de Soller is idyllic - set around a large bay with yachts to one side and a golden beach to the other. Around the whole area are restaurants for all tastes and you can watch the sun go down over the ocean, drinking a glass of wine

Can Jordan Marino offers a fantastic, homely escape to the hills. It is close to all amenities and yet feels as though you are in a rural paradise. It is perfect for a holiday of relaxation or a romantic break away from it all. This area is part of the true Mallorca - you wont find any major discos in the town of Soller or the port and this area has become known for romantic getaways, walking soujourns and family holidays in true Mallorcan surroundings (no neon lights or arcades to be found)...just peace, tranquillity, great restaurants, and stunning views !

A place to sit and dream.

Can Jordan Marino, our first introduction to Mallorca, and the tradition of the rural casita, tucked away in the hillside. We could have stayed there each and every day looking at the wonderful mountain view, and listening to the bucolic sounds of sheep's bells, cocks crowing and the occasional braying of a donkey. The cottage was simple but charming, and had everything we needed. The garden however was the place to be, an absolute delight, lovingly cared for, slightly idiosyncratic even, and filled with the heady smell of jasmine.

The beauty of the surrounding area was such that we just had to leave this tranquil spot from time to time. This is an ideal place for walkers, and we found magical valleys close by, leaving the car behind. That said, the walk to Port Soller is more like an hour both ways, but well worth it. The port is a vibrant place to be and the walk back (uphill) at night is filled with the scent of orange blossom and the hooting of owls..
