Very spacious fully renovated apartment located on third and last floor of one of the oldest buildings in the center of Lucca, inside the ancient town wall overlooking the charming town with mountains in the background, but particularly impressive is the Roman Amphitheatre which lies just below. Beautiful location in the wall, there is not enough! The apartment has the highest viewpoint in town: a large terrace and tower on the roof, dominating the town and the hills all around. The apartment consists of: spacious living room (TV + DVD), a large fully equipped kitchen with dining room (oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, 5 ring stoves), laundry room with iron, board and washing machine, 1 double room with private bathroom (built-in shower + separate bath tub), 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds, 1 single bedroom, a bathroom with built-in shower, a small lounge, a double bedroom with private bathroom. The stairs continue up to the truly distinctive tower at the top of the roof.

This historic, well equipt and superbly located apartement fully met our needs and expectations, and more. In the heart of Lucca, in the heart of Tuscany. The old house is modernised and molded to modern reqirements and I must emphesize the beautifull baths for up to date comfort. You had the feeling of this being a real home, as it was, and not a vacation house. We were met by the agent at the train station and brougth to the location and shown all the facilities etc. The agent , frendly and efficient, was also contactable on phone during the stay. We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed every moment. My friends and I will certainly recommend this location and hope to get the chance to visit again.
