Set within a traditional Spanish-style block of eight English-owned properties. enjoying a private community pool and courtyard gardens. Both bedrooms have twin beds, and a double wardrobe. The lounge / diner contains a bed/settee, satellite TV, and video player. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave oven, and toaster. The ground floor location, some 150 metres from the sea, and sandy beaches, with shops, bars, and restaurants only a few minutes' walk, means that the apartment is ideal for people of all ages.

Mojacar lies within an area renowned for it's sunny climate, said to be the best in Europe. The mountain top village has a distinct Moorish character. Said to be the birthplace of Walt Disney, the village is aptly labelled 'The Corner of Enchantment.' Sleepy by day it springs to life at night when its narrow streets and quaint bars and restaurants are enjoyed by people from all parts of the globe. There are many local colourful 'Fiestas' each year, some reflecting the historic conflicts between the Moors and the Christians. A few miles away lies the pretty town of Vera, with its magnificent bullring, still in use today following its renovation. The nearby fishing port of Garrucha is known for its excellent sea food restaurants. In summer, families can enjoy a day at the Aqua Park located in the Vera Playa area. For those who enjoy natural beauty, there are numerous beaches, stunning mountain scenery, and the famous Cabo de Gata National Park. Granada is about a 3 hour drive.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A non-refundable deposit of £75 per holiday week is required to secure your booking. The balance is payable no later than 8 weeks before your arrival date. A separate fee of 50 euros is payable to our local caretakers during your stay, in respect of cleaning and laundry.
    Unless other timings have been agreed, guests should arrive after 2 p.m., and depart no later than 11 a.m., in order that the apartment may be cleaned.
  • The modest rental rates reflect both our wish to give value for money, and our simple philosophy that it is better for us to let the apartment for numerous weeks at a modest rate than to let it for fewer weeks at a higher rate.

We were very happy with the apartment. It is very close to the beach and the bus stop. I would recommend it for anyone with children who wanted accommodation near all the facilities of Mojacar. The patio was lovely for sitting out in the evening. Lovely caretakers who were very helpful during our stay.

We have stayed at this apartrnment for the last five years and are going again this year. It is situated in a quiet back water away from the main front of Mojacar Playa. Nicely furnished with all the amenites thay you require. The beaches are literally a 5 minute walk away or you can relax in the secluded pool which is exclusively for the use of the residents of the apartment block. Eating out is a pleasure as there are a number of very good restaurants to suit all pockets and tastes in the immediate vicinity, between 3 minutes and 10 minutes walk away from the apartment. If you do not have a car then the local transport services are cheap and efficient. Shopping is either done at the local super market, open every day of the year, or further afield, 3 km, at the main shopping centre. The area abounds with places of interest to visit so if you want a diversion from the beach there is plenty to see. We would and have recommended this property to our friends.

Excellent place to stay !

We have stayed here twice and love it. The apartment is well furnished with everything you could need. It is situated in a quiet part of Mojacar where the atmosphere is relaxed, however the beach and amenities are only 4 minutes walk away. Close by there are a number of excellent restaurants, and for the kids there is a riding centre within 10 minutes walk, and playparks at the edge of the beach. The beaches are great but I would recommend hiring a car to be able to get to the superb beaches just a little way down the coast, and to explore the mountains just behind Mojacar. A trip to the restaurant and pool in the mountains is wel recommended. I think the name is Los Limonese.
This apartment is in just the right place, with just the right atmosphere and I would recommend it to couples or families.
