Fully restored 14th century farmhouse on the hills of Florence 10kms from the historic city centre, beautiful views of the whole valley and hills. The property has a private garden and swimming pool. The villa is on 2 levels with 2 double bedrooms downstairs, a bathroom with tub and shower, sitting room, eat in country kitchen with large semi professional stove, dishwasher etc. Large living room with hand painted ceramic table that seats up to 12, fireplace, living area with couches. Sat TV , WI FI , high ceilings with exposed wooden beams, terracotta floors and large door/window. Upstairs is a small twin walk through bedroom, a bathroom with tub and shower , a second twin with en suite wc and a large double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower, this bedroom has an extra single bed . Total occupancy 11pers . There is a roll away single bed also. Forest for trekking, the local town has all shops,restaurants etc the bus/train is walking distance.

The villa sits on a large estate of 150hectares producing chianti classico wine and extra virgin olive oil. The forest is full of wildlife such as pheasant, wild boar, hares, squirrels and birds. Many fabulous restaurants both in the town and on the hills for all budgets.The medieval local village has all types of grocery shops with wonderful produce, local bars for morning cappuccino. We can organize a private chef to come and cook at your villa or you can participate in the medieval tower in a Tuscan cooking class taught in English. There is also horse riding locally. Caruso's villa that can be visited , ceramic producers, wine tasting and cellar visits, medici villas and etruscan museum, also tombs that are open to the public. Close to all the major motorways and highways it is the perfect location to do day trips to Pisa/Siena, San Gimignano, Lucca, cinque terre, take the wine road through the backroads of Chianti area.
