Luxurious 72 sq metre, purpose built (2007), apartment in traditional Savoyard style building, within walking distance of a chair lift into the 3 valley system. Le Bettex is only a 5 min drive from the pretty town of St Martin de Belleville, with shops and its own lift system. The property has been equipped to a very high standard with all new furniture and fittings. The accommodation comprises three bedrooms, one having an attached shower room, a separate bathroom, and a kitchen living area. The lounge, with comfortable sofa, is fitted with surround sound DVD, i-pod link and X-Box. The property has a large, furnished, balcony which receives full sun from around 10 am. There is a designated parking place in the secure underground garage with an elevator to the lobby adjacent to the apartment. There is a ski room with a secure ski locker, this is fitted with a boot dryer. This is a strictly *NO SMOKING* residence; due to steep steps we feel it is unsuitable for smaller children.

Le Bettex is one of a number of small villages lying in the valley between Les Menuires and St Martin de Belleville. The village itself sits either side of the river Doron. There is a small bar/restaurant in the village which can supply bread and croissant to order. The nearest shops are in St Martin or Les Menuires, both also have numerous bars and restaurants. A particular favourite of ours for a drink at the end of the days activity is the 'Pourquoi-Pas' bar behind the church in St Martin. For those with deep wallets there is 'La Bouitte' restaurant in the next village of St Marcel. This highly acclaimed restaurant has just achieved its second Michelin star

Additional information about rental rates

  • We ask for a deposit of 250 euro on booking with the balance paid 8 weeks before departure. Rental is usually Saturday to Saturday but this can be negotiable, we prefer arrival after 2pm and ask that you depart no later than 10am. The rental fee includes all linen, towels, final cleaning and ordinary electricity consumption (approx 500Kwh). We also include some chilled refreshments for your arrival! In the unlikely event that our cleaner has to spend much longer than usual, or the electricity consumption is significantly greater, then we may make a small surcharge. We ask for a 500 euro damage deposit to be paid into our account to clear before your arrival, this will usually be refunded in full within 10 days of departure.
    On notification of cancellation we make the following charges;
    more than 70 days before departure; 10% total rental payable,
    43-70 days before departure; 30% payable,
    29-42 days ; 50% payable,
    15-28 days; 70% payable,
    less than 14 days 100% payable

Bedroom 1; (3.3mx3.0m) ensuite shower, wardrobes Bedroom 2; (3.0mx3.1m), the two singles in the second bedroom may be joined to form a large double...just let us know your preference at the time of your booking, large fitted wardrobe Bedroom3; (3.4mx2.2m), the third bedroom is a little 'cosy' but accommodates a queen sized bed and a full sized fitted wardrobe.

Ski: Le Bettex chair lift is a 5-10 minute walk from our ski locker St Martin de Belleville bubble is a 5-10 minute drive from our garage. The major resorts of Les Menuires and Val Thorens are both within 15 minute drive There is a branch of Twinner Ski Hire in the village of Bettex with facility for on line booking of your skis and boots. We can arrange for active ski passes to be sent to you before departure so you can get the first lift without the dreaded lift pass queue! We will ask for a small deposit per pass which is refunded when you return the p@s lift pass to us.
