Costa degli Ulivi village is an exclusive, small complex of terraced houses overlooking “Marinella Bay”, just few minutes car away from the worldwide most famous Porto Rotondo. Very set in a well maintained garden in perfect harmony with the natural environment, the peaceful complex is surrounded with marvellous olives trees, bougainvillea, jasmine and perfumed juniper. Costa degli Ulivi, lies on the North-Eastern coast of Sardinia island, right in the middle of Mediterranean Sea, just one or two hours flight from the main European cities and 30 min. from Rome. Within a couple of hours and less, you can visit so many extraordinary places; but the main attraction however is the sea itself; the cleanest and most transparent sea and the granite bases sand reflects unique emerald colours that inspired the name Costa Smeralda. Few minutes car away from shops, bars, restaurants. The complex is neighbouring 'Villa Certosa' the famous property of Italian Prime Minister.

Just home - already planning to return!

This really is an exceptional place. We have just returned but are already looking at dates for next year. The apartment is even better than it looks in the photos: in a really lovely, exclusive, quiet development, with beautiful gardens, dedicated parking for each property, and mesmerising views - the best of which is from the apartment's terrace. We could have spent our whole holiday there! What really makes it, views apart, is that it feels like a home rather than a rented property - lots of character, charm, equipped with everything you need - and the owner, Angela, is brilliant. She met us at Olbia aiport, which was great as we arrived late at almost 11pm, and had provided fruit, local cheese, wine and bread at the apartment. She was also really helpful and called us on our first day to see if all was ok (it was). The local beach, at Marinella, is fantastic and takes 2 mins by car; glamorous Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo are great fun for people and yacht-watching. It's really easy to explore the Cosa Smerelda from here. All in all, we couldn't recommend this highly enough if you are thinking of booking - just don't book the dates we want for 2010!

Wonderful summerholidays

My husband, little daugther (age 2) and I did spent two wonderful weeks in this beautiful apartment with stunning seaview in May 2009. Our very friendly and kind landlord Angela did arrange everything for us, bought a baby cod for us, arranged some fruit, wine and other drinks and milk for our little daughter upon our arrival and made our stay more than pleasant. It is an absolutely romantic getaway and we loved our cosy and beautiful apartment so much that we will return next year.
Angela is a wonderful and very friendly landlord and we are more than happy that we "found" her and her apartment.

Recommended highly Costa degli Ulivi resort

I came with my partner to this property in May. It was very quiet and we loved it. The views are stunning and the sea is beautiful, just walk down the steep path for approx 3 minutes, climb onto the flat rocks and jump or dive in!.The apartment is immaculate, well stocked and very comfortable.We had a really lovely holiday and I would recommend it to anyone. This is our 1st time in Sardinia but we have rented from Owners Abroad in several countries and this was to a high standard. Definitely hope to go back.We drove around the N/E & thought this property was well situated for sightseeing.

what a view!

My husband and I and our 9 month old had a really lovely time at this apartment. We were traveling in Italy for 2 months and this apartment was one of the best equipped we stayed at. There were loads of sheets and towels, an umbrella and chair to take to the beach and it was extremely clean. The owner couldn't have been nicer, she recommended beaches and restaurants, and even shipped back something we left there! She was also available by phone at any time and came by when we couldn't figure something out.

The BEST thing about the apartment was the incredible view from the living room, the whole wall overlooked the water! We sat out on the deck and watched both sunrise and sunset which were the most amazing I think we had ever seen. The one thing about this area is you have to drive everywhere so whether you stay in Porto Cervo or here in Porto Rotondo (which was much less expensive), you still will have to jump in your car so better to stay somewhere with this kind of view and as comfortable and well equipped. The beaches were still nearby and amazing.
We would highly recommend this apartment and would love to go back and stay again!

Benvenuti sulla "Isola che non c'è"!

Ha un solo difetto questa meravigliosa casa: quello di farti dimenticare il mondo circostante e di farti "prigioniero" della sua bellezza. Ci ha letteralmente stregati. Ha ammaliato tutti i nostri sensi a tal punto che facevamo persino fatica ad uscire, malgrado fuori ci attendessero le bellezze di una Terra straordinaria e sorprendente come la Sardegna.
Con l'atmosfera fatata che vi regna nottetempo, é una specie di "Isola che non c'è". Noi, che già nella vita ordinaria ci sentiamo Peter Pan e Wendy, in questa casa abbiamo trovato la prosecuzione per eccellenza della nostra "isola che non c'è".
Cara Angela, Le siamo infinitamente grati per averci regalato un po' del Suo paradiso.
