Pretty Cathedral windows give the cottage a very imposing effect. The cottage enjoys peace and tranquility, with much wild life, including deer that visit the garden. This unique single holiday property will not disappoint the discerning guest. Perfect for honeymooners or those seeking a relaxing holiday or a weekend break. However, Lake View is not isolated, the Norfolk Broads, beaches, a health, beauty and fitness club, golf course, restaurants, pubs and shops etc are all within a short drive. Private Parking. Exclusive fishing from fishing platform in garden. Fisherman please note that there is no close season on the lake and therefore is it possible to fish all year. Boat Hire available.

The lake area in front of the cottage is completely private, so it is totally peaceful and if guests wish to fish they will have no neighbours! There is no charge fishing. Surrounded by woodland, there are beautiful walks and much wildlife to be seen. However, there is much to do in the surrounding area.

Lake View Cottage - a gem in Norfolk

We spent 5 days with our 8 year old twin boys at the Lake View cottage and had a wonderful time. The garden is just amazing, the boys wouldn't have left it if we hadn't made them do so - so we were actually kind of lucky that the weather was a bit cold and rainy which allowed us to go on a few excursions. The cottage itself is a real gem, very will equipped, nicely furnished, comfortable beds, everything you wish for. And Susan and Andrew are most hospitable and helpful. Shops and attractions are easy to reach by car and you can go for great walks in the woods surrounding the lake. We all hope that we will return to Lake View cottage for another holiday.

Peaceful, historic property

This house is located in a very peaceful and rural setting. You reach the property by driving down a short track and there is plenty of parking space. Although attached to the owners property, it is far away enough for this not to be any bother. The cottage is appropriately furnished and has all you need for a relaxing holiday. The owners were on hand to welcome us and all our email communications were dealt with speedily.The garden is superb - a real oasis of calm. It was lovely to just sit and relax in. A minor point that did not bother us - the TV was only analogue and there was no cable of satellite as it says in the details. But with surroundings like this - who needs them!
Owner's Response: The TV Channels obtainable are clearly indicated on the webpage and comprise BBC1, BBC2, ITV and Channel 4.
As the cottage is a listed building, satellite dishes are not allowed.
