Beautiful barn restoration set in own grounds with breathtaking views. The property sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms, the first of which is a double located downstairs opposite a ground floor bathroom with bath, shower and toilet and the remaining 3 bedrooms located upstairs. 2 double bedrooms with en suite facilities; toilet & shower and the fourth and final is twin bedded & perfect for children. There is a spacious split level lounge with comfy leather sofas and feature fireplace with a wood burner, satellite TV & DVD player, hifi and Ipod connector. The lounge opens up with french doors to the covered deck terrace with large table that is perfect for long lunches. The well equipped kitchen includes a large dining area and contains an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher and wifi connection. The washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the stone outhouse along with 2 bikes. The decked pool area with plenty of loungers is perfect for soaking up the Dordogne sun.

Fontenille is a quite hamlet situated just 2 kms away from the bustling town of Le Buisson de Cadouin. The location is peaceful yet being close to a reasonable size town is not far away from all the local amenities. Le Buisson springs to life on market day and in the height of the summer has night markets that are worth a trip. It has a couple of small supermarkets, bakers, cashpoint, doctors, cinema , a tourist office, a couple of bars and excellent restaurants. Larger supermarkets can be found at Le Bugue or Siorac. The town is on the banks of the Dordogne and is perfect for lazy afternoon walks, tennis or canoeing. Other local activities close by are horse-riding, golf, cycle hire and balloon trips.
