The apartment has been completely refurbished to a high standard of comfort and has everything you could possibly want in a home from home! Kitchen with dishwasher, 5 burner hob, microwave, fan oven, toaster, kettle, loads of crockery and washing machine & tumble dryer in the garage. The beds are really comfortable with great deep pillows! There are 2 brand new bathrooms - one with bath and shower and the other with a walk in shower. Both have washbasins and toilets. The lounge/diner has a wireless internet connection, DVD player and TV. This is a really popular rental with families as we have low beds in one of the bedrooms, a cot with deep mattress and toys in the garage. No need to rent sunbeds & umbrellas - we have our own for use on the FREE beach! Our own small garden is private with gated access.

Silvi Marina is very Italian & popular with Italian holidaymakers although open all year round for the locals. For families, Silvi has playgrounds along the beach with cafes, fantastic pizzas, ice cream and remains mainly unspoilt. No car needed as Silvi Marina is only 25 minutes from Pescara airport and the main town of Silvi, which has shops and restaurants, is within a 10 minute stroll. If you want to explore have hired a car and want to ski, the mountains are an hour's drive. The town of Atri is a 20 minute drive - Atri is older than Rome and where Hadrian was born. The tiny city of Silvi Alta has amazing views and is only a 5 minute drive. There are two Aqua parks - one at Guilianova and one at Vasto. We are a 2.5 hour car drive from Rome or take the bus 15 Euros each way and do Rome in a day! Pescara is a city with a port and ferries go to the Tremiti Islands. Abruzzo - a captivating region of Italy with dramatic scenery, skiing, superb local food & wine, great walks!

  • The two single beds in the main bedroom join together to make a King size bed. There is also enough room to put the cot in here. There is a large dressing table with mirror, bedside cabinets and table lamps. All the bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. The smallest bedroom has two low single beds - one under the other which can be used singly or as a double bed. There is an additional self-inflating mattress in the wardrobe for a 7th person (if required)

Notes: The beach is so close that you can take your drink and walk for about 20 seconds. The beach is sandy. The nearest restaurants are within a 5 minute walk. The town of Silvi Marina is a walk along the beach or road about 10 minutes - and has all shops and restaurants. There is a bus service - 15 Euros on the bus to Rome (3 hours). Some of the ancient towns are near us - Atri is older than Rome. It is not even necessary to hire a car. We are 25 minutes by taxi from Pescara Airport to Silvi Marina. There are no hills and everything is in walking distance. Our property is very comfortable and we have a selection of English DVDs, games, toys for the children.

a holiday home where you really feel at home

This apartment is home from home in the holiday sense of the word. Staying here blending in with the locals esp on market day,Thursday seeing a bit of local life in Silvi, everyone is so helpful. Lots of routes we discovered for a nice walk or jump on a bus and get into Pescara, the financial capital in 20 mins,Or stay on your doorstep and so easy to take a drink and book 120 steps to the beach,to sit and loose yourself! Fifteen mins walk along the beach to the town for all essentials. An easy journey to Rome for the day is possible, too. The tastefully decorated apartment is equipped catering for all needs.There is a comprehensive list of restaurants locally and all the necessary places one might need while staying away,chemist bus times etc.
My husband and I stayed here in September a couple of years' ago. I went back for "me" time for a girls' holiday last May and we are booked for this July with another couple. Three times in as many years says more than one could ever write esp from a person who never goes back to the same place twice! It ticks all the boxes and all needs thought of I would just say give it a try I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Rest and Relaxation!

We had a lovely week here...The apartment was clean and well furnished and just a few paces from the beach where we relaxed for hours. We also enjoyed discovering some of the nearby towns and interesting drives into the hills.

Home from home and right by the beach

My family stayed in this lovely apartment with good friends in May 2008 (7 of us altogether). It was newly furnished, very clean and decorated in good taste, with every amenity we could possibly need. The location is traditionally Italian (not too touristy) with a colourful local market, but also there are lively beach front restaurants and bars to wander along. The beach is indeed extremely close - just walk along a short path and you're greeted by clean sand and sea. No problem carrying both your deckchair and drink at the same time! We rented a car at Pescara airport and found the location easily with the help of the owner's directions. We recommend car rental if you want to explore the lovely nearby traditional villages and some fabulous restaurants up in the hills. If you prefer not to travel around, it's nice just to relax on the sand or have a long beach walk (stopping for great ice cream along the way!).

Perfect Place to be, Silvi Marina by the Sea.

The location and facilities is near to everything you could possibly want but in an area secluded enough to be in your own little bit of heaven by the sea. The property itself is situated in a quiet area in square of houses which are traditionly of Italian design, with only a short 200 yd walk to an unspoilt beach, it's just fabulous. The property has been recently refurbished and is clean modern, extreamly comfortable and well-maintained. It has everything you could want and more, the three bedrooms are all large and comfortable, and the two large bathrooms make it an extra bonus. If you go to the beach the garden has an outside shower you can use before going into the house. On exploring surrounding arears, you have the beautiful mountains on one side where you can visit the laid back and the Ancient City of Atri and then you can try out as we did all the fantastic restaurants and coffee places back down to the sea, far too many yummy places to mention, but we had fun trying lots of them out. Buying the most amazing fresh foods in the local supermarket made it just as much a pleasure to eat in. We had great fun in the nearby local market and bought fresh produce there and we really did have the best time, the people are friendly and you can melt into the Italian way of life so easily. We really did have the best time, would highly recommend and can't wait to re-book.

An unspolit gem of a find!

We stayed at the apartment last May and were wowed but the fanatasic location - just moments from the beach - so close you could walk back to the apartment and grab a cold drink at any time! Long stretches of sandy beach and beautfiul clear sea.

The apartment has everything you could need and we didn't want for anything.

Nearby are lovely, good value restaurants and the locals all extremely friendly.

We would definitely go again.
