Mas Dauret is a romantic stone farmhouse situated 3 miles outside the lovely towns of Beaucaire and Bellegarde on the Provence & Languedoc border. Arles & St Remy-de-Provence are close by. Easily accessed by Motorway & local Airports (Nimes Airport 15 mins, Marseilles and Montpellier both an 1 hour) This beautiful property has recently been renovated to a very high standard, retaining all its original character features. Surrounded by vineyards and orchards, the house is on a hill and has wonderful views over the Provencal countryside. The infinity swimming pool is situated in the lovely upper gardens with access from both ground floor terraces and via the upper level of the house. There is a large paved outside terrace for lunchtime and evening dining. There are 5 double bedrooms. 2 new bathrooms (1 shower/wet room). An amazing kitchen that has everything you need.and more. Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and extra fridge/freezer.

Mas Dauret is at the end of a private lane surrounded by vineyards and Provencal countryside. The local area is full of wonderful places of interest, from the Pont du Gard, the amazing castles in Beaucaire and Tarrascon, the amphitheatres in Alres and Nimes, the papal city of Avignon and the incredible Roman ruins of Glanum in St Remy. There are markets and vineyards to visit and so much more. Mas Dauret is a wonderful location as you are never far from something of interest to visit.

    A 25% deposit will be required at time of booking. The balance will be payable, 8 weeks before your arrival. A security deposit of 500 Euro to be sent with the balance to cover breakages etc. This will then be returned after inspection of the property.

Notes: There is a main terrace at the front of the house with a dinning table and chairs, there is also a lawn terrace off the kitchen this also has a dinning table and chairs. There are sunbeds and sun chairs around the pool, also a hammock. Close to the house is a natural water source. This is a fenced off area, not suitable for drinking or swimming in. The water runs past the front of the house in a small stream. The relaxing sound of running water can be heard from all the front facing bedrooms. Please do not use bathroom towels for use outside, pools towels available. PLASTIC glasses ONLY to be used in pool area.

There are many places within this great location they call the 'golden triangle' between Avignon, Arles and Nimes, of historical interest to visit. The amazing hill top fortress of Les Baux (with a 1 Michelin restaurant) The beautiful city of Avignon; home to the Popes in the middle ages. Arles; home to the Impressionist painters (Van Gogh etc) & Nimes with the its best preserved Roman Arena. St Remy with it’s beautiful cobbled streets, wonderful shops and restaurants (fantastic Wednesday market 8 -2 ) which also boasts the famous Roman city of Glanum.

See the Pont du Gard & ducal town of Uzes, the beautiful beaches of Saintes Maries de-la-Mer only half an hours drive away. To get to Saintes Maries de-la Mer, enjoy the spectacular drive through the Carmague and spend time in the Reserve Naturelle (Zoologique et Botanique). Here you can Horse riding or cycle to see this beautiful natural parkland with its flamingos and countless birdlife.
