Villa Casanova is situated on the lower hillside in the famous town of Lenno from where you can enjoy the tranquility and beauty of Lake Como. The villa was built in early 18th Century, and was owned by a Bishop since early 19th Century and is widely decorated with stunning fresco paintings on the ceilings. The mature gardens surrounding the Villa are extensive and very private. This large apartment arranged over two floors, welcomes you through the front door and into a lovely living room (with double sofa bed, sleeping 2) and beautifully furnished with Italian & French elegance. There is also a well equipped kitchen & stylish dining room on the ground floor. Four comfortable double bedrooms, accommodating up to eight people are located on the first floor. There are also three beautifully finished bathrooms. The terrace and 18th Century gardens are typically planted with tall specimen trees and shrubs, an ideal residence to relax in privacy and enjoy the natural beauty.

    There is a final cleaning cost of €100 when staying for one week & €120 when staying for two weeks with all bed-linen & towels included. If staying for two weeks or more – the bed-linen & towels will be refreshed after each week. All utility usage such as water, electricity & gas, are included in the rental price.

  • Payments by Credit/Debit Card & Wire Transfers
    There are no additional charges for credit or debit card payments. However, all bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender. To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our booking form online and pay a 30% deposit. The remaining balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.

Lenno: Lenno is one of the most beautiful towns and also the oldest village on the lake. The lakeside promenade is just 20 minutes walk away from where you can enjoy the magnificent scenery. Convenience is on your doorstep - supermarkets, a delightful bakery, pharmacy, banks, delicious bars and restaurants, all within walking distance. The famous 16th Century Villa del Balbianello and gardens (a location in James Bond 'Casino Royale' are in Lenno and a real 'must see' for everyone. Two private boats - a 15hp engine and 140hp (license required) with a boat mooring are available to hire on request from the owner. Please enquire for further information.

Magnificent. The property was large enough for the three families to stay in and wasa beautiful traditional Italian villa. Lenno and the Lake had tremendous views. the property was very clean and superbly maintained, we were so impressed!!!! we had locations that were easily accessible for us all by car and never ran out of activities! We had a great time and will definately come back!
