Located in a quiet neighbourhood only 15 minutes walk from the old Barock market town of Tettnang and only a few minutes walk to the local Conditorei for fresh German bread, cakes, wines and lunchtime snacks. There is also a cash machine and a small supermarkets nearby. The location is ideally suited for walking, cycling or swimming. Tettnang is famous for growing hops and for good reason, its micro-climate provides warm summer evenings caused by the heat rising from the lake in the late afternoon and often it is 2 or3 degrees warmer than at the lake.

Round and about: The apartment is closely situated to the old market towns of Lindau, Meersburg and Konstanz. Just over an hours drive and you are in the Swiss Alps were you can take walks in the breathtaking scenery. There are thermal baths close by and our favourite is at Aulendorf which is better for swimmers and more fun than the others around the lake.

the pictures on the internet were very promising and the apartment really kept them. It is very nicely furnished and very well equipped. The view is spectacular, breakfast or having a sundowner on the balcony has to be recommended. The house is build on a sloping hill side and you have to climb of view steps to get to your car.
We enjoyed our long weekend very much, theres lots to see and do around the lake, but it is also very nice just to spend a relaxing day in the apartment with all its books, games, DVDs etc. We would recommend it for short visits as well as long stays. We will definetley come again.

Peter and Irina have done a marvelous job of preparing a relaxing and beautiful two bedroom apartment in Tettnang. The views from the deck towards Lake Constance (Bodensee) and the Alps are spectacular. The apartment has lots of room, is well furnished and the kitchen is modern and up to date. One special aspect of the apartment for our thirteen year old son was the collection of DVD's which was perfect for the days when we did next to nothing but relax. We had a fantastic time on day trips to the Rhine falls, Konstanz, Meersburg, Frederichsburg and Lindau. The day trip to Fussen to see King Ludwig's castles was an adventure (thunder, lightning and pouring rain, etc.) but was fun all the same. It is a perfect location for sightseeing in the Bodensee region and for a relaxing get away. Also you could not have better hosts than Peter and Irina. Wonderful hosts and a wonderful apartment. Summer 2009

Sehrgute Übereinstimmung der Ausschreibung mit der vorgefundenen Realität! Top-Küche mit neuester Technik. Top entertainment Ausstattung. TV, DVD, Internet-Radio. Ansprechende Möblierung, Gartengestaltung, Alles funktional, sehr gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. In der Nähe Konditor, Supermarkt, Discounter, Bauern-Hofläden. Strassenanbindung an den Bodensee sehrgut.
