Set in its own grounds on a hillside by the historic village of Montone, and with commanding views of the Tiber valley, this newly-restored farmhouse is ideal for family use, with attention to detail in the modern, stylish decor. Thick stone walls, terracotta floors, beamed high ceilings and louvred shutters make for a calm and cool interior. The spacious ensuite bedrooms have ceiling fans and, if the weather turns colder, underfloor heating. The Master bedroom has a dressing room, private stairs and balcony. Large sofas and open fireplaces in both drawing-rooms ensure your comfort. The large kitchen is very well equipped, fitted with luxury appliances. The living areas open onto a shaded terrace for dining al fresco, sunny pool terraces and attractive, landscaped gardens, with panoramic views of the valley beyond. The 15mx5m private pool has steps to a shallow end, has sunloungers and parasols and is near the house. The property is gated, alarmed and has a shaded carport.
