The Oisans are also synonymous with legendary Tour de France mountain stages. Alpe-d’Huez, Les 2 Alpes and Bourg-d’Oisans have left their mark on this race, and are part of its living legend. The most renowned cycling races in the Alps including the famous 'Marmotte' are put on for the Oisans Trophy. Mountain biking in the Oisans plays host to spectacular mountain bike competitions such as 'Megavalanche' the longest MTB downhill race in the world, starting on the Alpe-d’Huez glacier and finishing 30 km and 2 800 metres further down, in the centre of the village of Allemont or the “Mountain of Hell”, a free ride downhill race in Les 2 Alpes

  • We reserve the right to change the weekly rental price for any special dates announced such as Tour de France, La Marmotte etc.
    A deposit of 150€ or 25% which ever is the greater will be required upon reservation and full payment is required 6 weeks before your holiday.
  • In order to maintain the quality of our home a security deposit of 25% or 150€ which ever is the greater of the booking fee will be required against damage or theft. Linen is provided at an extra charge of 10€ per set. Professional cleaning is provided at the end of your stay at a cost of 40€.
  • Should you fail to make any of the above payments on or before the due date then we can not guarantee to honour your booking. In that event you will forfeit any deposit paid.

We're a Canadian family of 4, visited the Bourg d'Oisans area for a week in July 2009. The unit is modern, clean and quiet. Location is excellent and is an easy walk into the town centre or to the municipal pool. Garage space was convenient for bikes. Overall a great unit in a lovely area of France. Only small gripe was no internet access, otherwise it was a perfect stay.
