The Oisans are home to an extraordinary range of fauna and flora, as well as fascinating geological features. With over 800 km of marked trails, ranging from easy strolls to adventurous hikes, you can escape to the highest summits and discover scenery that is as varied as it is astonishing. The Oisans are also synonymous with legendary Tour de France mountain stages. Alpe-d’Huez, Les 2 Alpes and Bourg-d’Oisans have left their mark on this race, and are part of its living legend. The most renowned cycling races in the Alps including the famous 'Marmotte' are put on for the Oisans Trophy. Mountain biking in the Oisans plays host to spectacular mountain bike competitions such as 'Megavalanche' the longest MTB downhill race in the world, starting on the Alpe-d’Huez glacier and finishing 30 km and 2 800 metres further down, in the centre of the village of Allemont or the “Mountain of Hell”, a free ride downhill race in Les 2 Alpes

Additional information about rental rates

  • We reserve the right to change the weekly rental price for any special dates announced such as Tour de France, La Marmotte etc.
    A deposit of 150€ or 25% which ever is the greater will be required upon reservation and full payment is required 6 weeks before your holiday.
  • In order to maintain the quality of our home a security deposit of 25% or 150€ which ever is the greater of the booking fee will be required against damage or theft. Linen is provided at an extra charge of 10€ per person. Professional cleaning is provided at the end of your stay at a cost of 40€.
  • Should you fail to make any of the above payments on or before the due date then we can not guarantee to honour your booking. In that event you will forfeit any deposit paid.

You can choose from either our 1 bedroom apartment sleeping upto 6 people or our lovely 2 bedroom 2 bathroom first floor apartment with its lovely 9m2 south facing balcony. Photos and prices relate to the 1 bed apartment a should you prefer the 2 bedroom then we will be pleased to give you rental prices based on your desired week. All other general details are the roughly the same.

Hey there!
We spent our holidays in that place and I want to say it was wonderful. Appartment is very cosy, there is a lot of space. The house is all surrounded by mountains which gives such a beautiful views. If you choose this place, car is required, but it's reallly worth it!

Enjoyable Summer Visit

We're a Canadian family of 4, visited the Bourg d'Oisans area for a week in July 2009. The unit is modern, clean and quiet. Location is excellent and is an easy walk into the town centre or to the municipal pool. Garage space was convenient for bikes. Overall a great unit in a lovely area of France. Only small gripe was no internet access, otherwise it was a perfect stay.
