Set above the Port of Agios Nikolaos in the North of the Island, Villa Mimosa is a beautiful house for those requiring a relaxing peaceful holiday. The villa sleeps up to 10 and is very private and secure. It offers an open plan spacious living/dining/kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, cooker, and a large refrigerator. Patio doors open onto a covered courtyard with a large dining table for al fresco dining. A twin bedroom with en suite shower room is located on this floor. Beyond the courtyard there is a shady verandah with seating and a built in barbeque. This looks directly out to the port to a little island in the centre of the bay. On the first floor, accessed by stairs from the living area are two more double bedrooms with en suite facilities. Steps lead down from the courtyard to the private pool surrounded by gardens. On this level there are two additional twin bedrooms with en suite facilities. Laundry facilities on site.

The property is presented to a very high standard, has extensive outside accommodation ideal for al fresco dining. The pool is set in established walled gardens with palm trees, oleanders, bougainvilleas and the fragrance of jasmine fills the air. A key feature of this property is it's privacy. Just simply the perfect place to be.

Peligoni Club: Peligoni Saling Club is 5 mins drive from the villa offering windsurfing, dingy sailing tuition, walking, tennis, painting classes, pilates, exercise classes, massage and much more.

Agios Nikolaos: Port Nikolaos has wonderful boat trips to the ship wreck, the blue caves and the other islands nearby such as Kefalonia. These can all be booked and taken from the port a short stroll from the villa. Wonderful trips for the children. Fishing and renting boats is also possible from here. There are also some great restaurants around the port and in the port itself, right on the waterfront.

Zakynthos: Zakynthos town which is approx 40 mins by car is a thriving busy town (charmingly chaotic!). It combines both Greek island architecture and Venetian. It has local and (a few international) shops, restaurants, banks, hospital and museum. The port for mainland Greece which is 1 hour away by large ferry is situated adjacent to the town. The town has an outside cinema and good nightlife.

There are no words to describe our experience in Villa Mimosa : everything was simply perfect , well balanced and under control.
Every comfort and details in the property description are real .
The house with a stunning seaview is located just in front of the port ; with plenty of small restaurants nearby where the food can be catered and enjoyed under the tranquillity and the comfort of Villa Mimosa porch.
There is a small supermarket open 24h a day where you can find nearly all you need .
Excellent in loco customer service .
Overall an experience to be repeated !

The villa was great, big rooms and very clean. The location of the villa is in the north part (the quiet part) of the island so a car is a must.
