Villa Lucero is located near the sought-after Costa Nova area of Javea - in an exclusive development called 'Monte de Javea'. With air-conditioning in all bedrooms and the lounge (essential for the months June to September!) - it has many facilities for adults and children... including a large pool (which can be heated from September-June), playroom and 14-foot trampoline!

Villa Lucero is located looking out to a wonderful view of the Montgo mountain. Located in a development with similar-sized properties - you are just a 5-10 minute walk to a couple of lovely restaurants, a shop, and a tennis club (newly refurbished). Javea combines great natural beauty, sandy beaches, rugged mountain areas and an excellent climate all year round. A short 5-10 minute drive away there are numerous good restaurants and bars in the port area, by the Arenal (one of the main beaches) and in the Old Town. There's also a variety of well stocked supermarkets, if you fancy eating in and enjoying a barbecue by the villa's large (10m x 5m) private pool. The villa is all on one level (i.e. no stairs inside the property - so safe for young children). PLEASE NOTE - even though this villa is newly built - it is on a COMPLETED 'Urbanization' with no other building work. It's very peaceful!!

  • Fully-tiled bathrooms with the latest modern fittings. In winter there's also under-floor heating available throughout the home... so no cold feet in the morning! We upgraded the hot water tank to a larger size - so it provides enough piping-hot water for all guests in the villa to have a nice shower. The towels are all Egyptian-cotton with large Christy bath sheets for the adults.

  • There are two 'Master Suites' - both with en-suite bathrooms, and king-size beds. The first master bedroom has its own private door leading onto the main terrace, whilst the second master bedroom has its own private balcony looking out to the Montgo mountain. Perfect for a glass of wine whilst watching the sunset! Both master bedrooms are equally as lavish - so there would be no squabbling if you rented the villa with another couple/family!! All beds have luxury 'memory-foam' mattresses for the ultimate in comfort. The towels provided are also Egyptian cotton (with large bath sheets for the adults), and the pillows, duvets etc are all what you would expect to have in your own home. There's a cot that can be used for babies/toddlers - also a single camp bed and a bed guard for children who have just made the leap into 'big beds'!! Air-conditioning (hot & cold) is in all bedrooms and the main living area - and are the very latest 'quiet' units.

Notes: Not only is the villa luxurious - but also very family friendly... There is a playroom with toys/games, a PlayStation 2, DVD-players and TV - with children and family DVDs. Sky+ TV is installed so you can catch the kids channels and BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Ch4, Ch5 etc, and record them. There's also a large 14-foot trampoline with safety net!! Dining - there is a dining table that seats 6 people in the American-style kitchen/ diner - and a patio table and chairs on the Naya that seats 8-12 people. Also a gas BBQ. The swimming pool is large - 10 metres x 5 metres (most are 8m x 4m) - with graduated steps down to the pool. Tall secure fences/gates surround the villa (for child safety). There is an intercom from the main gate to the house, and a burglar alarm. A centralised-music system allows you to listen to music inside, or whilst enjoying the evening sat on the Naya (terrace) - thanks to the outside speakers. Bring your iPod/MP3 and plug-in and listen to your own music!

This villa is exceptionally comfortable and very well decorated and equipped. The owners provided excellent customer service with extra touches such as beach towels and a welcome pack. We have stayed in Javea many times but this is the nicest accomodation we have found. We would definitely recommend the property to friends.

Fantastic family holiday

We stayed here in October of 2009, myself, my wife, 3 young kids (aged 1, 5, and 6), and my father. The villa is perfectly set up, with 2 master suites and 2 large bedrooms for the kids. The amenities at the villa were top notch. The pool was fantastic, and the trampoline kept the kids occupied when not in the pool. Inclusion of little extras, like a small library of books, DVDs, and toys, meant we had to pack less. The villa is super clean - I really could not ask for more. The only complaint was that wireless internet was a little spotty, but I understand ADSL is being installed so this shouldn't be an issue in the future.

I know it's not why you holiday in Spain - but we've recently extended the DVD library you mentioned and now have over 40 titles. Fantastic Holiday

We had a fantastic holiday at Villa Lucero. Our party included grandparents, parents and kids. Why do i say that?

- The villa was excellent with a great layout. The kitchen and playroom were fabulous and the bedrooms were perfect for two couples and children.
- The pool was great and that fact that it can be heated was a real bonus
- The touches that made it family friendly such as the trampoline, games, toys, dvd's etc made it extra fun for the kids
- The furnishings were great and it was comprehensively equipped
- The location is great, it is in a peaceful area and within walking distance of a couple of restaurants and a small shop
- The service provided is superb form the comprehensive handover to the owners ensuring you have a great time - nothing is too much trouble

Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would love to return

The Best Holiday... Ever!!

Had a great time at Villa Lucero - we all agreed it was the best week away we had ever had.
At first we were a bit concerned that it was a new build and there maybe cranes etc around still building - but this was not the case at all. The villa is surrounded by other large villas, all finished, and all nice looking. No building work going on at all - and very peaceful!
The villa was very clean when we arrived (normally you get sand/dust on your bare feet when it's not been) - this villa was spotless!
Everything you want is in the property - even a big George Foreman gril in the kitchen!!? We loved the iPod docking and outside speakers, sitting out with some chilled music with a glass of wine. Sometimes we would walk down to the local restaurants - good value, and good food - especially like La Guardia.
Even though it's only recently been finished, the garden is nicely done - some lawned area around the pool, nice plants and flowers - and the girls loved the trampoline at the back of the house.
Owners gave great customer service - nothing was too much trouble.
All-in-all the best holiday we've had - and we're booking for next year!!

Fantastic holiday

We had a fantastic holiday. The villa was of an extremely high standard with ample room for 2 families. It was spotlessly clean and had a well equiped kitchen. It was lovely to receive such a nice welcome basket, the wine was particularly well received! The local restaurants were good value as well as a vast array of restaurants in Javea itself. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for sun and relaxation!
