The beaches in the Western Algarve are among the most beautiful & least crowded in Europe. Choose from among the many sheltered sandy coves along the South coast or venture a little further a field to one of the more dramatic West coast beaches, open to the full force of the Atlantic swell. Burgau & Salema are both traditional fishing villages with sandy beaches, beachside bars and restaurants. Burgau is only 2km from AlmaVerde. Between them lie the quieter beaches of Cabanas Velhas and Boca do Rio, and to the West of Salema lie the beaches or Figueira, Furnas, Ingrina, Zavial and Martinhal each with its own character and charm. With well over 100 restaurants in Lagos & the surrounding area, plus a myriad of cafes, there are options to tempt even the most discerning palate. The cuisine is mostly Portuguese but there are also some English, French, Italian, Indian and Chinese restaurants.

  • Pool heating is included for High & Peak seasons. Outside of these seasons pool heating is charged at £88.00 per week.
    Cots, High Chairs and fold away beds are available for hire through AlmaVerde. Cot or Highchair Rental per week £28.00. Fold away bed £56.00

    Chef - The services of a chef for ad hoc parties or for longer duration can be arranged

    Baby-Sitting - Payable on site. It is advisable to book this in advance

    Car Hire – We have negotiated a deal with a local firm in Lagos who will take details before travel and drop a car off in the car park ready for pick up. This avoids the need to queue at Faro airport.

    Renters arriving late can order a Welcome Pack of basic provisions which is paid for during your stay.

    To book the Villa a 25% Booking Deposit is due up front and then the remaining balance, plus a refundable security deposit of £200 and the cost of any extras ordered.
