Perfectly located & ideal for golf and non golfing holidays, this NEW apartment at the exclusive El Bosque golf course is only a short 20 min drive from Valencia airport and the city's attractions. After a round of golf or exploring the local area, you can enjoy a relaxing drink on your balcony & admire uninterrupted views of the 9th hole or cool off in the large communal swimming pool. Plus this 2 bedroom apartment is only 150 metres from the Clubhouse bar and restaurant. The well equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge freezer, microwave plus washing machine, iron & ironing board. Both bedrooms are furnished with twin beds & there is a modern en-suite bathroom from bedroom 1. A travel cot is also available for families with babies. The open plan lounge has a TV, DVD player, CD player plus there is an indoor dining table with 6 chairs & the patio doors open out onto a good sized balcony with outdoor table & chairs so you can also enjoy al-fresco meals.

The apartment is ideal for motor racing events and the Valencia Grand Prix. It is very close to the Ricardo Tormo circuit at Cheste which is used for Formula 1 pre-season testing, Super Bikes & Touring Cars racing. It is also the perfect central base for golfers. As well as staying & playing at El Bosque, there are 7 other golf courses within approx 1 hour drive inc Escorpion, El Saler, Oliva Nova, Mediterraneo & Foressos (see golf info section). It is a great place for a non-golfing holiday. Being only a 25 min drive from Valencia, you can enjoy the city attractions and beaches whilst staying in a peaceful, rural location. There are lots of historical & cultural attractions such as the City of Arts and Sciences museum, art galleries including works of Goya, Velazquez & El Greco. Make time to explore the ancient cathedrals, plazas & monuments as well as the old port & modern marina. Then chill out on the fantastic sandy beaches of Malvarrosa, Cabenyal-Arenas & El Saler.

    - SHORT STAY rentals are allowed for a minimum of 3 days - please see the applicable nightly rates.
    - LONG STAY rentals are available. Please get in touch for any stays over 4 weeks for a discounted rate.
    ** Please note there is a £5 per person per night extra charge applicable for both the 5th and 6th person staying in the apartment **
  • Deposit: 25% of total rental price to be paid within 7 days of booking being confirmed. Balance: Payable 10 weeks before departure together with a security deposit of £100. The security deposit will be banked and fully refunded within 28 days of return provided that there are no damage/ breakages/ excessive use of electricity (or any other breach of holiday agreement). If you fail to pay the balance when due, your booking may be cancelled Cancellations: More than 10 weeks prior to arrival: loss of deposit.10-8 weeks prior: 50% of total rental rate will be refunded. 7-5 weeks prior: 25% of total rental rate will be refunded. 4-0 weeks prior: 0% refund. Please note, if you are booking within 10 weeks of your departure date, this is classed as a late booking & the total rental amount is due within 7 days of the booking being confirmed.
  • Payment is normally only accepted in the quoted currency and is to be paid by internet bank transfer or cheque in £sterling. The approximate equivalent amounts are to be used as a guide only as all actual payments amounts & method of payment in alternative currencies are to be agreed in advance between the advertiser/ owner & the guest. Payments may be acceptable from non-sterling bank accounts or through Paypal with prior agreement & will incur an extra 5% charge. Once your booking is confirmed, the price is fixed and will not change. However, we reserve the right to change the published prices for new bookers during the holiday season depending on availability. It is mandatory that you have your own personal travel insurance for all members of the travelling party which incorporates the duration of the stay. We will not accept liability for any personal claims.

  • This apartment comfortably sleeps 4. There is a FREE travel cot available - please advise if you need this for your holiday so it can be made available for you. There are also 2 blow up beds (with electric pump) available to use in the lounge so can accommodate up to 6 - please get in touch and advise us if there are more than 4 people in your party and we can confirm the rental rate to you (see rental rates for more details). The bedrooms are spacious and have been purposely furnished with twin beds to make this apartment suitable for same sex golfing groups as well as couples. Both are furnished with fitted wardrobes, a chest of drawers & bedside table. Bedroom 1 conveniently features a modern en-suite bathroom with wc, bidet, basin & shower over bath. All bed linen and towels are supplied at the apartment. A hairdryer is also supplied at the apartment so you don't have to pack your own.

The nearby Clubhouse features a restaurant & cafeteria plus there is a large communal swimming pool and playground. The apartment is tasteful, well-equipped & comfortable for golf holidays as well as for guests wanting to explore the Valencian region, motor racing fans or for the business traveller (Valencia is only 25 mins drive away). The kitchen has all the cutlery, crockery, pots & pans you'll need as well as kettle, toaster & cafetiere. The air-con has a heat setting & there are 2 portable heaters. The TV features local Spanish channels however there is a DVD player so please bring any favourite DVD's with you. There are a number of CDs, dominos, cards & Connect 4 game for entertainment. About Valencia: The city enjoys a coastal location & boasts a mild climate. A 'must' is to visit the fascinating City of Arts and Sciences museum. Valencia is also steeped in history as the cathedral is said to be the home of the Holy Grail. There are many interesting monuments, museums & parks to discover as well as lots of art galleries. Other places of interest are the Barrio Carmen (the old quarter), La Lonja de la Seda (the former silk exchange), the Bullring & Mercardo (the traditional, large indoor market). Plus there is also the modern marina and old port to explore. Football fans should visit Mestalla – the home of the Valencia football team. A great time to visit is during the Valencia Grand Prix (27 June 2010) which takes place on the city streets & around the port area - so is a similar style circuit to Monaco. A great way to experience Spanish culture is to stay at the apartment during fiestas such as Las Fallas (15-19 March) & La Tomatina in nearby Bunol (last Wednesday in August).

Ricardo Tormo race circuit + other activities: The apartment is close to Cheste (only 12 miles away), home of the Ricardo Tormo motor racing circuit, one of the most respected race tracks on the Moto GP tour. Teams such as Ferrari, Renault, BAR Honda, BMW Sauber, Williams & Toyota carry out testing prior to Formula 1 season as well as hosting many motor racing events including Super Bikes & Touring Cars. The Valencia Exhibition Centre is only 20 minutes away which makes El Bosque a great base for business travellers. The Valencian region has stunning scenery to explore & walkers will enjoy the Parque Natural de la Serra Calderona with its beautiful mountains & unspoiled sea views, pine forests & well marked footpaths. The Reserva Meules de Cortes which is home to many birds of prey is another lovely nature reserve. Close to the coast is the Albufera freshwater lagoon which is a perfect spot for birdwatching. Other activities on offer include boat hire, sailing lessons, wind-surfing, jet-ski, diving lessons, fishing & cycling.

More details about El Bosque Golf Club: We have a SPECIALLY NEGOTIATED GOLF DISCOUNT for our guests - please ask for details. El Bosque was designed by Robert Trent Snr (who also designed Valderrama) & is still considered a 'well kept secret' to many golfers. This 18-hole, par 72, 6276 metre Championship Golf Course was opened in 1975 & has hosted the Mediterranean Open, the 'Volvo' Open, PGA senior & the Queens Cup. Ranked No. 5 in Spain & built to USGA specifications ensures all-year round golf & excellent playing surfaces. It has been designed to be playable for all types of golfers but also features many challenges for the more experienced golfer with over 100 bunkers, water hazards & fast greens. The pro-shop hires clubs, buggies & trolleys plus there is a caddy facility for leaving your own clubs safely overnight. Other facilities include a practice area, a chipping green, 2 putting greens, approach area, bunker area & golf school. There is also a TV & games room, restaurant and cafeteria as well as changing rooms.

Golf: There are another 7 golf courses within a 1 hour drive so you can enjoy a variety of courses during your holiday. Escorpian - just 20km north of Valencia at Betera. It has three separate nine-hole golf courses which can be played in different combinations to make up 18 holes. Mediterraneo Golf - to the north of Valenica, this is another 'hidden gem'. With 18 holes & par 72, it is 6823 metres long & has received the European P.G.A award. The 1st 9 holes are relatively flat & the last 9 are undulating so provide some great variety. Forressos - a new 18 hole par 72, 6364 metre course just 30 kms away. El Saler - just 20 km south of Valencia & situated close to the sea in the Albufera National Park, this course was voted the 2nd best golf course in Europe by Golf World. This 18-hole, 72 par course has held a number of Spanish Opens and is ranked No.29 in the world. Oliva Nova - situated close to the resort town of Oliva, near Denia, this course has top class golf facilities & was voted the best of all Seve Ballesteros' designed courses. With 18-hole, 6270 metres, par 72, it has hosted the Peugeot Oki Spanish National Championship on 4 occasions. Gandia Colf Course - this 6 hole golf course is perfect to play as a warm up on the way to Oliva Nova or why not combine a round whilst having a day out exploring the local area? Perfect stay for a relaxing week!

My partner and I stayed at the El Bosque apartment for a week in August as we had tickets for the grand prix. The directions we were given were fantasic and in 20mins we had parked and were carrying our luggage up to the apartment. The instructions were very clear about how to get the keys from the safe and we were in very quickly. The apartment is fantastic, very clean and decorated beautifully. The facilities are excellent, the kitchen is extremely well equiped. (Even a cool box and umbrella which you can take to the beach!) The balcony was wonderful to eat our dinner on each night, with fantastic peaceful views over the golf course. The first day we went to the pool we couldn't believe we were the only people there all afternoon, especially as it was peek season. We only ever saw 2 or 3 other families throughout the week which meant we had the large luxury pool to ourselves for most of the week. Valencia is a wonderful place to visit the beaches were beautiful and the city has many excellent things to see. My partner and I even discussed moving there and buying an apartment in the complex even though neither of us play golf! A fantasic, amazing holiday, just sad it had to end. Will definately be going again!
