HOW TO GET THERE:
THE LOCAL UNDERGROUND STATION IS LIMEHOUSE WHICH IS ON THE UNDERGROUND SYSTEM
The apartment is a two minute walk from Limehouse DLR station which is the new east London extension of the old underground system which is a tube station in principle. This is open until late at night and is connected underground o the old underground system. Two stops takes Shadwell then Bank, change to the Central Line and 3 more stops and you are shopping in Oxfords street which is the heart of the city centre, a 10 to 15 minute journey in total.
Or if you travel two stops in the opposite direction you arrive at Canary Wharf with it's may shopping malls and restaurants. There is absolutely no need to have a car if you are using this apartment as for a tourist holiday in London, a 2 minute walk to the DLR (underground) and buses from the city centre 24 hours a day.
There is a Tesco supermarket 100metres from the apartment open from 7am til 11pm seven days a week.

Canary wharf 2 stops, Excel Exhibition centre in 10 minutes.
From Heathrow airport, is via the underground 50mins, Piccadilly Line (dark Blue) to Acton Town Station, change onto the District Line (Green) travel to Bank station on the change to DLR line (light blue) 2 stops to Limehouse.
From Stansted airport a train takes you to Liverpool st. Station and then take a 15 bus to the door or grab a 5 min taxi ride. Gatwick airport take the train 20 mins to London Bridge and its a one stop to Bank and 2 stops to Limehouse. By road the apartment is located at the main east road out of London so it is easy access to M11 - 15mins, M2 south through the Blackwell Tunnel which is 5 minutes away. or drive onto the M25 circular road - 20mins and access any of the surrounding counties.
