This villa is situated directly at the beach in the center of Candidasa and may be rented either as a whole to accommodate eight persons (four bed rooms) or as two separate apartments. The two storey building contains two luxury apartments, a sun terrace, swimming pool and a sun-covered terrace with fabulous view over the bay with its authentic fishing boats. The ideal location enables you to you enjoy the famous Balinese sunset over the bay. The villa may be rented as a whole or each apartment separately. Three Servants and a driver are ready to serve your needs. As a service we offer you continental breakfast (3 euro) and a three course dinner of choice (5 euro). Transfer from the airport is free if you stay longer than one week and guided tours are optional. If you prefer dining outdoors you will find 25 restaurants of different prices & quality within walking distance. At the beach, we can arrange guided boat tours for snorkeling, diving or fishing.

The apartment downstairs has a big living/dining room with complete kitchen. The open kitchen is completely equipped with refrigerator, cooking-range, microwave, percolator, espresso machine, etc. The three large bedrooms are fully air conditioned and all rooms are equipped with ceiling fans. The living room has two lounge areas and a large dining table. Two bedrooms have their own bathroom with washing/basins (warm and cold water), shower and toilet. The apartment has a separate third toilet. The living room has folding doors to the terrace with swimming pool and long chairs. At the end of the garden, a romantic sun-covered area is equipped with a dining table and has a gorgeous view on the bay. A stairs leads to the beach.

Candidasa is a former fishing village. The population is friendly, helpful and nearly always smiling. The Hindu religion is the basis for their tolerance. The village has 25 restaurants of different prices and quality. It is more peaceful when compared to the more touristic southern part of the Island. Boat trips are organized by the local fishermen, who take you to the underwater gardens for snorkeling, diving and fishing. A lot of small shops in the village show you the special crafts of the area. Candidasa is not far from Tirtagangga, Tenganan, Ujung Water Palace, Besakih Temple, Ubud, Semarapura and other places of interest. Bicycles are for rent and guides are available for trekking through the beautiful Sawahs (rice fields).

Romantic Bali

This was our first trip to Bali, and the whole family of 8 really love the stay at the Villa. Overlooking the South China Sea, hearing the waves every seconds you don't need to go anywhere further. I can guarantee you from the owner Jan, to the driver Nengah and the cook, they really make your stay memorable and keep wanting to come back for more. The Villa is so convenient located that you can take a romantic stroll at the beach to shopping across the street to having nice dinner along the whole stretch of the road opposite the villa. We are certainly coming back again and would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful villa to anyone that is planning a holiday in Bali.

A 100% thank you to you Jan, you villa is absolutely beautiful.

Now this was perfect

The thing is, the owner, a dutch doctor, is a wonderful man, so the house, his staff and the location are wonderful too - he made sure of this, and the result is we had a stunning 3 weeks holiday with our kids, with loads to do, and just being there, with the sound of the sea and the sea breezes keeping us cool and fresh, and just excellent food, and the pool and all the really charming locals, and the boatmen just right nearby ready to take us to super places, and the restaurant opposite and the best dive place just along the way etc etc. And the nice aircon car with the gardien who speaks good English and took us to fantastic spots for an incredibly reasonable 30 euros a day! Owner found us an excellent nanny who was so cheap it was embarrassing - this guy really does care about your holiday by the way.

Only reason I am reluctant to say all this is we want to come again, and when the truth gets out about this place, there won't be any availability for us. But the truth must out.

This place is a guarantee that the plane ticket is worth it. Superb.

This is the secret tip for this year! We spend 10 days in march in this appartment and had a great time. After waking up in the king-size bed we used to jump in the pool and enjoyed our breakfast at the seaside. What a tremendous view! The staff is nice and always in a good mood. They were always happy to help you and arranged some very nice - and cheep - trips. Food was great, especially for the price. You really don't need a restaurant or a supermarket. If you want to be treated like VIP's for a small price, this is the place to go.
