Peaceful yet Active Stay enjoyed by 3 Generations.

Our family of 6,(4 adults and 2 teenagers)has recently returned to the UK from this stunning front-line villa overlooking the Mediterranean.
Villa La Paz certainly lives-up to its description both inside,with 3 large bedrooms,2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and well furnished living area,and outside,(where we spent most of our time!!) with its private swimming pool,all day sunbathing areas,gas barbecue and a sheltered naya where we ate most of our meals.
The property was spotlessly clean and tidy with all furnishings of a good standard.
The setting is ideal,set in an area of many private villas, but extremely quiet and not overlooked in any way.
Although we had great difficulty in prising the 2 teen-agers
away from the pool,we did manage to visit some of the nearby towns -Moraira,Javea and Denia-and also a day`s excursion to Valencia (well worth a visit!)
Cala Moraig,the local beach,was nice and we had an evening meal at the small cafe/restaurant.However the pool at the villa was so convenient and inviting that this was our only visit to the beach.
As 4 of us are keen golfers,we quickly sought out the local
9-hole courses at Javea and Ilfach in Calpe,both no more than 15/20 minutes drive from the villa.
On 2 occasions we also tackled the more challenging 18 -hole Championship Courses at Campo Levante,just outside Benidorm.
However,as on every occasion we ventured away from the villa,it was like "coming home" when we returned to our favourite venues--the pool and the barbecue!!
Angie and Mike provided first class customer service,and we were in regular email contact from February to August.
A welcome pack of provisions was discussed and provided
--as we arrived late in the evening---and we had some fun locating the villa in the dark.
There was also a very informative guide to the facilities of the villa and suggestions left by previous residents of places to visit etc., which we found most helpful and to which we added our own thoughts.
In conclusion,we would have no hesitation in recommending Villa La Paz and the Cumbre del Sol area to any family seeking either a totally relaxing or totally active holiday,--or like ourselves - a fine mixture of both---to cater for the diverse tastes of all generations--Grandparents/Parents/Teenagers!!!
