This beautiful villa is warm, inviting, spacious. It is located at the entrance of Les Angles, a charming 15th century village, just minutes away from the renowned city of Avignon. During your stay, you will enjoy the beauty of Provence, where culture, fine dining and shopping await. The house is located in a park setting of tall tress and beautiful flowers. It is very quiet and private. The swimming pool (11x5 m) is surrounded by a terrace-like area, and a lawn. The inside is decorated and furnished with style and refinement. The vast reception rooms are greatly enlightened by a large patio/inside garden, full of flowers and green plants. The patio is surrounded by numerous windows, which brings lots of light inside the villa. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The house being very well isolated, and each room having a fan, the temperature in the house always stay very comfortable, even during the hot summers in Provence.

Our villa is located steps away from 'Les Angles', a little villa which dominates the Avignon valley. The landscape surrounding the village is beautiful, with a little road that crosses the village, and goes down to a typical Provencal landscape, with lots of fields, vineyards and trees. The house is only a few minutes by car from Avignon, where the international theatrical festival is held every July. During your stay, you will be able to visit the Roman bridge, 'le Pont du Gard' (20 km away), the Roman city of Nimes (30 km) the city of Orange -well known for its opera festival- and the cities of Saint Remy de Provence,Les Baux de Provence, l'Isle sur La Sorgues.Aix-en-Provence and Marseilles. Being close by the Cotes du Rhone vineyards -including the famous Chateauneuf du Pape- guests at the villa will greatly enjoy wine tasting. During the day, a city bus stops a few meters away, which will allow you to be in Avignon within 10 minutes, without having to park your car.

This is a great house! It certainly met the description given but still managed to exceed our expectations. The facilities are really good, plenty of space no matter what the weather, and the local contact was excellent - attentive without being interfering. The location is superb. Lovely to enjoy evening strolls in the old village (on the doorstep) or down in Avignon, which is less than 10 minutes' drive away. Plenty to do and see in Avignon, as well as great places to eat, and many other attractions nearby (including kayaking).
We'd thoroughly recommend this to a largish family, or two small ones, as there is ample sleeping accommodation in 4 bedrooms (3 double, 1 3-bed).
