Photos and Description of this Carvoeiro holiday villa A very spacious villa with pool within easy walking distance to town and beach.

This villa is quietly situated only few steps from the picturesque rocky coastline within the gardens and pine trees of Algar Seco Parque, offering unforgettable views over the Atlantic Ocean. The private pool, cool terraces, quiet places and the overwhelming sea view create a unique atmosphere. The bedrooms are on the ground floor. On the first floor is the bright living room with a fire-place and pleasant seating next to it, and a separate dining room. There are open and covered terraces all around the house. Greatest emphasize for comfortable furnishing was laid on good, solid craftsmanship; handmade furniture from the North of Portugal, hand painted, typical Portuguese tiles, hand woven rugs and lampshades, and hand embroidered carpets. The decorations – paintings, ceramics, pottery and carvings – all come from artists of the nearer and wider neighbourhood. Daily maid service except Sundays and public holidays, all linen and towels provided except beach towels.

Carvoeiro, once a small fishing village, has now become a popular holiday destination. It has, however, carefully maintained its character, with no high rise developments but mainly small complexes and villas being developed out of town. Such is Algar Seco Parque, where the villa Fernao Magalhaes is located. While within easy walking distance to restaurants and bars or the beach, there is on site reception for help or advice, a huge swimming pool if the kids like some company, another heatable pool, a childrens pool and a toddlers 'puddle'. The bistro restaurant overlooks the main pool and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner if you don't want to cook.

Beaches: All beaches in the Southern part of the Algarve are beautiful; covered by golden layers of smooth sand formed from a combination of fine shells. Beach bars of all varieties offer drinks, grilled sardines, snacks or even full meals. Here are some beaches closest to the villa: Praia do Carvoeiro, village centre, about 800 m west A very popular beach, particularly for those from the apartment houses nearby. In high season folkloric or musical groups perform on the village square. Praia de Centianes, about 1 km east Nice little beach, varying width of the sandy beach depending on tide. Praia do Carvalho, about 2 km east A cosy little beach surrounded by spectacular cliffs. Protected against the wind. The access is via steep stairs cut down through a tunnel - quite unique. Praia da Marinha, - about 3,5 km east One of the finest bays on the entire Algarve. Steps lead down to the beach which is divided by a rock formation into two parts.

Golf: There are 3 courses within the village limit and 25 golf courses within 45 minutes reach. In Carvoeiro - Quinta do Gramacho, Vale da Pinta and Vale do Milho.
