Villa Adriatica is located on the Adriatic Coast and is surrounded by dramatic scenery, privacy, wonderful beauty, fresh air with close proximity to vast stretches of beaches, great shopping, nightlife and conveniently close to the Pescara airport and Pescara train station. The area is renowned for its Montepulciano D’Abruzzo Wine, wonderful fresh cuisine, shopping, charming nearby villages, the mountain ranges and warm friendly people The villa has a unique, elegant, contemporary and fresh design reflecting its own creativity. The interior is very spacious with high ceilings, yet inviting and cozy and full of natural light. The villa consists of a large master bedroom with a large en suite Jacuzzi bathroom and dressing room. Three other comfortable bedrooms each have their own en suite bathroom.

The centre of Pescara, with its designer and high street shops, is also a 15-minute drive from the villa. And in the evenings, the beach cafes and the old town of Pescara Porto transform themselves into vibrant night spots. Or if you like you can even catch a bus, train or drive on the “Auto Strada” to Rome for a day trip which takes only around 2 hours to get there! The mountain range also known as 'La Bella Dormentata' (The Sleeping Beauty) can be seen from the villa and Abruzzo's extensive park system includes natural beauty akin to national parks in the western United States. Within Abruzzo's parks lie some of Italy's most beautiful ancient hill towns rivaling those of Tuscany and Umbria. The region has 15 ski resorts with 368 km of runs in 172 different ski tracks, all within a drive away. The most popular resorts are Roccaraso, Campo Felice, Campo Imperatore. Located on the highest altitudes of the Apennines, these ski areas are at heights nearly comparable to many resorts in the Alps. Because of their proximity to the Adriatic and winter precipitation patterns, they often have more snow than the Alps. Abruzzo also is popular for cross country skiing, especially on the high plain of Campo Imperatore in the Gran Sasso as well as the Piana Grande in the Majella.

We traveled to Pescara as a family of 5 with two adults three
children. We rented the entire villa for our selfs to have our own
privacy and it was truly amazing as we had spectacular views and fresh
air. We hired a car to explore the close by beaches and the city was
great for shopping, cafes and evening entertainment. We also arranged our own day trips to mountain side and small historical villages. Even though dining out was nice we also loved cooking in the villa and dining on the terrace. The owner (Daniela) is very keen to ensure that our stay was perfect.

My friend Tina and I stayed in Daniela's house in Montesilvano Colle in the summer of 2005. It was truly 'home from home'. We had all the comfort and facilities we needed to make our stay enjoyable, from the comfortable beds in the airy bedrooms to the well equipped kitchen. We were able to cook wonderful meals from fresh produce bought from the nearby town and on the garden terraces we sat and sipped the locally produced wine while we enjoyed incredible views on every side of sea, mountains, villages and vineyards. In the family-friendly town we ate the world famous 'gelati'- Italian ice cream , strolled and sunbathed on the wide beaches and swam in the warm Adriatic. You would need some form of transport to get up and down from the town and beaches and to visit the surrounding countryside. We definitely plan to go back again one day.
