Mot Mot House is built in an old sugar plantation on a half an acre plot and offers peace and tranquillity, yet close to local amenities. Set above the mile long sandy beach, Courland Bay, Mot Mot benefits from its own private steps leading down to Courland Bay. The house is fully air-conditioned, with an open plan veranda to the rear of the property overlooking its own private swimming pool and gardens. There is seating for outside dining, gas barbecue, sun beds and shower. You will also find citrus, mango and many other types of fruit bearing tree's in the tranquil gardens to feast on. The house is spacious, fully equipped and was re-fitted with new furniture throughout in September 2008. Further renovations have been made to two of the three bathrooms, which have been fully updated to contemporary walk in wet rooms. The house comfortably sleeps 10, with one king en-suite, one queen en-suite, two twins, one with queen beds and one with singles. There is also a new travel cot.

Mot Mot House is located on the Caribbean side of the island and only 5 minutes walk to Great Courland Bay, otherwise known as Turtle Beach. Some of the best restaurants are just a 5 minute drive from the house, with two local supermarkets and several mini marts within the same driving distance. The airport is approximately 15 minutes drive away and there are also lots of other attractions within reach of the house, including bird watching, golf, waterspouts and other tourist attractions. Turtle watching is between the months of April and August, and can be found at Great Courland Bay, just below Mot Mot House; Turtle Watching is not to be missed, just walk down to the Turtle Beach hotel from the steps located at the back of the house and book yourself onto the Turtle Watch list, the hotel will call you when a Turtle or Hatching's are spotted. There are other supermarkets and restaurants located in Crown Point, near the airport which is just a 15 minute drive away.

Simply beautiful

We are a family of 3 (child aged 5) and we had a fabulous stay at Mot Mot. The best part about this property is it's tranquil gardens, there was plenty of space for our little one to run around and the garden was well maintained. The property itself was well equipped, clean and airy, and was well secured.

Courland Bay is within easy reach of the villa, just a short walk from the back garden steps and there are some lovely restaurants some 5 minutes drive away. All in all we would recommend this place to anyone who likes to be close to all local attractions but not in the thick of it.

Great place, helpful staff and management and very ameniable owners.
Owner's Response: We take great pride in our villa and we are constantly looking at ways to improve it, so it is always good to hear when a renter has enjoyed their holiday and their time there. The garden is simply beautiful, our favourite time is late afternoon when we just chill in the hammock and watch all the different species of birds come in.

Wonderful Time at Mot Mot after Carnival

I stayed here with a group of friends after Carnival and found it to be better than what we had expected! I believe renovations had occurred during the time we booked and the time we had arrived. It was all a very nice touch to the villa. We were greeted by a very friendly caretaker upon our arrival who was able to arrange car rental for us. She made everything very easy for us, and we were able to relax immediately. The rooms were all clean, bathrooms provided with towels and toilet paper. There is cable TV in the main sitting area as well as AC and I believe in all the bedrooms as well. The pool was great, bigger than it looks in the photos and gets quite deep so I wouldn't recommend letting young children out in the backyard without supervision. There are security cameras on-site, as well as security precautions around the villa and inside. One night something had set the alarm off and we were relieved to know that security would arrive to ensure that everything was ok. There is a walkway towards the back of the villa that leads to the main road and a 5-minute walk from Turtle Beach. It's a nice beach to walk along although we did not spend much time here as the majority of the time we were in Crown Point which is about a 15 minute drive away.

All in all, everyone had a great time and would return to this property in the future. The owners and caretakers of this property are friendly, very accomodating and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this villa to anyone looking for good accomodation and faciilties at a reasonable price.
