Beautiful, spacious, bright 2 bedroom air conditioned apartment. Open plan living room / diner with views on two sides of mountains and vineyards. Comfortable sofa, arm chair, TV, radio, table and seating for 6 people. Fully equipped modern kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge / freezer, full range of cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils, washing machine. Main bedroom large double bed, wardrobe, 2nd bedroom 2 single beds ( further bed can be provided on request), wardrobe . Covered patio with views of mountains and sea and set in approximately one acre of gardens.

The region offers great opportunities for walking and cycling with spectacular coastal and mountain routes. Good quality bikes can be hired at reasonable prices.The region is renowned for its long, beautiful sandy beaches and crystal clear water, many of which are easily accessible by car and offer safe bathing for children. Many water sports are also available. Away from the beach you can visit fascinating archaeological remains from the Bronze age, take in the limestone caves in nearby Ulassai or visit the abandoned village of Gairo.There are some wonderful festivals held during the summer ranging from wine and food tasting, Sardinian music and dance, demonstrations of local arts and crafts and tours of local people’s homes . The region produces the famous Cannonau red wine and those people visiting towards the end of September can witness or even join in the grape harvest as the property enjoys its own vineyard. Great shopping is available in nearby Tortoli and Cagliari.

Relaxed Sardinian Holiday

If you want to escape to silence, beautiful views a relaxed environment, this is the place to come. Every morning we sat outside having breakfast watching the changing cloud and sun patterns on surrounding mountains - a beautiful place.
The owners were very generous in supplying us with fresh vegetables (literally straight from the garden into the pot)and gave us advice on local hostelries, walks etc. If you intend walking then a compass is a necessity. Instructions in guides tend to be vague and based on direction ie head south east and with a variety of paths to choose it can be tricky. We forgot ours but when we return we'll remember!

What a view!

Spent a week in this wonderful little apartment, waking up to that view is something i will really miss! The apartment is finished to a very high standard and Bruno and Phillip are very welcoming and friendly. Would definately recommend this apartment, only a short drive away from some wonderful beaches and about 20 minutes drive from Tortolli. A truly wonderful week was had by all. Will definately be back.

This a beautiful place to visit. Not only is the apartment finished to a very high standard, perched on a hill it also benefits from some stunning scenery and a gentle breeze - very welcome in the heat of summer!
If you want a relaxing holiday with fantastic beaches, clear sea and a stunning mountain backdrop this is defintely the place to come.
Phillip and Bruno are great hosts with fantastic local knowledge.

Die großzügige Wohnung ist nach bestem Standard geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sie ist absolut still. Die nicht einsehbare Terasse läßt den Blick auf eine mit Wein bewachsenen Ebene schweifen. In der Ferne kann man das Meer sehen. Der Strand ist ca. 5 km entfernt, er ist sehr lang und überhaupt nicht überlaufen. Hinter dem Strand ein schattiges Pinienwäldchen. Ein Ort der absoluten Erholung !

Holiday in Cardedu

A family of 5 , we stayed in apartment 2 in July 2009. The apartment was beautifully decorated and furnished ,and very clean. Outside the apartment was a huge shady veranda with a large wooden table and the most fantastic panoramic view of mountains and the distant sea.It was peaceful and lovely. The variety of beaches ,all with stunningly clear water, were accessible by car.Brunello and Philip were extremely welcoming and very friendly,and I would definitely recommend a stay here.
