The region offers great opportunities for walking and cycling with spectacular coastal and mountain routes. Good quality bikes can be hired at reasonable prices.The region is renowned for its long, beautiful sandy beaches and crystal clear water, many of which are easily accessible by car and offer safe bathing for children. Many water sports are also available. Away from the beach you can visit fascinating archaeological remains from the Bronze age, take in the limestone caves in nearby Ulassai or visit the abandoned village of Gairo.There are some wonderful festivals held during the summer ranging from wine and food tasting, Sardinian music and dance, demonstrations of local arts and crafts and tours of local people’s homes . The region produces the famous Cannonau red wine and those people visiting towards the end of September can witness or even join in the grape harvest as the property enjoys its own vineyard. Great shopping is available in nearby Tortoli and Cagliari.

Tolle Unterkunft in traumhafter Umgebung

Wir haben als Familie mit 2 Kindern (5 Jahre und 1 Jahr alt) hier zwei wunderbare Ferienwochen verbracht. Die Lage des Hauses mitten im Weinberg mit fantastischem Blick (lässt sich auf Fotos gar nicht wiedergeben) und völliger Ruhe, der liebevoll angelegte Garten, die top gepflegte, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung und nicht zuletzt die Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit der Vermieter machen dieses Feriendomizil zu etwas ganz Besonderem.
Hervorzuheben ist auch die geschickte Trennung der 3 Wohneinheiten: Alle Terrassen und Eingänge liegen separat, sodass man von den Mitbewohnern kaum etwas merkt. Falls (wie bei uns!) nette Nachbarn anreisen, steht umgekehrt einer großen gemeinsamen Grillparty nichts im Wege.
Zum nächstgelegenen Strand fährt man 10 bis 15 Minuten. Hier bekommt man alles, was man sich wünscht: glasklares Wasser, langen Sandstrand mit Pinienwäldchen, überraschend wenig Touristen – selbst in der Hochsaison (2. Augusthälfte).
Ob Strand oder Einkaufen: Auto ist hier unverzichtbar! Aber dafür wohnt man an einem besonders schönen Fleckchen Erde, ideal für einen Urlaub fernab des Touristenrummels.

A good week away!

Our stay at the apartment was very enjoyable. We were made very welcome by Bruno and Phillip, who even met us beforehand so we could follow them on the last bit of our journey upto the apartment. It was definitely useful having them on hand to ask about the local area and places to go, and they made it clear that they'd be happy to help if we had any problems during our stay. The apartment was well maintained, very clean and was well equipped. I don't think the pictures did it justice however as it looked a lot better in real life! A car is definitely needed to stay here as the apartment is quite isolated and is a fair distance to the main road, and even further to the nearest supermarket etc. The beaches nearby were great - especially around Tortoli. We did find that there were not that many places to visit nearby, however, would most definitely recommend staying here to those who just want to chill and have a relaxing week in the sun!

eine wunderschöne Ferienwohnung mit einer phantastischen Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge und das Meer. Wir (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) haben 3 Wochen Urlaub dort gemacht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Am schönsten ist die große Terasse mit Blick auf den Weinberg und den liebevoll angelegten mediterranen Garten sowie die umliegende Umgebung. Hier kann man die Seele baumeln lassen und sich super erholen.
Diese Ferienwohnung ist wirklich zu empfehlen.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnungen

Wir haben im September/Oktober drei wunderbare Wochen hier verbracht. In der ersten Woche lernten wir die Wohnung 2 kennen ,danach zogen wir für zwei weitere Wochen in die Wohnung drei. Beide Wohnungen sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet ,sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die dazu gehörenden Patio beeindrucken durch ihre Größe und die wundervollen Blicke in die Weinberge und den mediterranen Garten. Für Urlauber ,die gerne abseits und ruhig wohnen wollen,genau der richtige Ort. Die Vermieter wohnen ebenfalls dort und gaben uns viele schöne Tips und Anregungen. Das Wohlbefinden ihrer Gäste ist ihnen sehr wichtig ,was man auch deulich vermittelt bekommt. Die geschenkten Weintrauben,Pepperonis und der Mangold aus dem eigenem Garten werden mir noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung in ländlicher Region

Im Juli 2009 verbrachten wir eine Woche in der Ferienwohnung 3 bei Bruno und Philippe. Die Wohnung war super ausgestattet, hatte schöne Möbel und Gartenmöbel und war sehr sauber. Besonders der zur Wohnung gehörenden Patio ist einfach traumhaft mit seinem Blick über die Weinberge bis hin zum Meer. Der Garten der Ferienwohnung ist liebevoll gestaltet. Man fühlt sich eingebettet in die Natur und kann in vollen Zügen die Ruhe geniessen. Die Besitzer wohnen selbst im Haus und stehen einem bei Fragen und Wünschen mit Rat und Tat zur seite.
Cardedu ist das nächste Dorf, welches man in ca. 6 km erreicht. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es einige einheimische Läden, Restaurants und schöne Strände. Vor allem das Hinterland ist eine Besichtigung wert.
Die Unterkunft bietet sich an für Leute die Ruhe und Erholung suchen und fern ab der touristischen Pfaden einen Urlaub in Sardinien verbringen möchten.
