History:
Pollensa is without a doubt one of the most attractive municipalities of the island, being the preferred destination of painters and artists since the beginning of the century. Pollensa is full of contrasts because a large part of the so called Serra de Tramutana is situated within the municipality, with its steep mountains and its deep valleys which in many cases end in the most beautiful and lonely bays where the blue of the sea merges with the grey of the limestone rocks and the brilliant green of the pine trees. Pollensa town with its winding streets, ancient churches and famous 365 steps leading up to one of the many churches. Puig de Maria with years of history can be reached by car, then on foot to the monastery and with breathtaking 350ºviews where you can read up on the history of the monastery whilst taking a well earned drink and snack in the cafe shop.
Cala San Vincente peaceful, tranquil and relaxing with crystal clear waters.
Walking / Trekking:
Walking / Trekking the north of Mallorca with its vast mountain range is prime walking country.
