This fantastic townhouse is situated on a hillside overlooking the harbour-inlet of Portimao and Ferragudo in one direction and the open ocean in another. Light and bright with sunshine from morning to evening.The terrace has its own shower which is great to get that sand off from the beaches or just to cool off during hot days. There is a heated pool 20 meters from the house where you will also find a bar, serving hot and cool drinks and also snacks. This is a luxury holiday accommodation in close proximity to all popular holiday activities. The nearest beach is just a minute away on foot an the main beach in Ferragudo - Praia Grande - is just 2-3 minutes away. The house comes with a modern kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine and television with a few good English speaking channels. Wireless internet access is included. We booked this property last minute and was very pleased. There was a welcome pack on arrival and a bottle of wine and fruit.
The property was lovely and clean and air conditioned - something needed in July in Portugal!
The position was excellent - with views of the sea.
It was a 5 minute stroll to a fabulous beach and a 10 minute stroll into the village centre. There are a few hills and cobbly streets when going into the village - but nothing too severe.
The area itself is fabulous for families - especially with young children - beautiful safe beaches and excellent views over Portimao. It is also easy to get to Carvoeiro. But, I would recommend a car.
Fredrik, who looks after the property, was very good - on the end of the phone if he was needed.
Overall - lovely place, lovely position and I would definately book the same place again.
