Meandering through leafy lanes into the sleepy village of Arzua, you’ll discover the beautifully restored and completely renovated farm house of FOGAR DE LECER. Painstakingly restored to the highest standards, it´s stone walls, wooden floors and solid roof beams combine to create a traditional, yet homely atmosphere. It is a luxurious, yet charming, detached stone cottage with room for up to 11 guests. Tastily decorated with cultural relics from around the world, it maintains all of it´s original features throughout. With a sunny, mild climate and surrounded by oak forests, rivers and streams, it is truly a place of peace. Close by is the historical city of Santiago De Compostela, with a fantastic selection of shops, restaurants and bars. It is just 20 minutes away from the airport.

Fogar de Lecer is located in Arzua, a pretty, rural setting in central Galicia with lovely views across the valley and a good selection of local bars and shops. It is ideally located for a relaxing holiday and enjoying the local way of life. Santiago is the closest airport (40kms). Portodemourus lake is only 4 km away, perfect for swimming, fishing, canoeing, sailing and rowing. The local countryside is ideal for nature-lovers, bird watchers, cyclists, and hikers. It is abundant with tranquil country lanes, wildlife, natural beauty spots and ancient monuments. Galicia is beautiful, with rolling green countryside, a mild climate, wonderful seafood and the famous 'ribeiro' wine.
