Originally the village of Olivella, Masia Can Pau is an 800sq.m farmhouse parts of which date back to the 11th century. Surrounded by vineyards the house has been completely restored to a very high standard offering spacious accommodation maintaining the period features whilst offering all the comforts of modern day living. Set on the edge of the village and the Garraf National Park guests can enjoy peace and tranquility whilst being just 15 minutes from the picturesque seaside town of Sitges with its safe sandy beaches and international restaurants and just 40 minutes from the vibrant city of Barcelona. The house has 8 bedrooms but for larger groups a pretty 3 bedroom cottage within the grounds is also available (the two are never rented to separate groups thus ensuring complete privacy)

A real find and would definitely return. Jane and Sebastian have renovated this beautiful old masia with verve and style, retaining some remarkable period features.Wood and stone predominate and the house is tastefully furnished and decorated. The pool is saltwater, which we prefer.
The covered terrace is large, with wonderful views across the valley.The house is very spacious and has excellent entertainment facilities for the young, also high spec bathrooms.Jane is delightful and very helpful: anything from daily fresh croissants to fantastic massage can be arranged (but ask nicely, because she is busy!)Beaches are easily reached: we recommend Vilanova and Gava rather than Sitges, which is fun but crowded.
Excellent local wines include Pescador (dry petillant white) Malvasia de Sitges (delicious pudding wine) and anything from Bodegas Torres is very good.
Enjoy your stay as much as we did.You will be staying in a beautiful family home, well-sited and with excellent facilities and many more within striking distance.
