'Solar Montes Claros' is a charming house located in the heart of the Albayzín, Granada's old Arab quarter and World Heritage by UNESCO. A neighbourhood that maintains its southern beauty, and from its highest point, a wonderful view of the city, that can be contemplated within the tranquillity this old area has never lost. Besides, due to its location, 'Solar Montes Claros' becomes an ideal spot offering a lovely view of the Alhambra palace. Each spot has been extremely well-furnished with a charming style. In fact, the rooms are named as far-off kingdoms of the East: Saba, Fenicia, Sumeria, Asiria, Nubia, Persia and each room has very selected details to justify its name. The patio is surrounded by plants and a Moorish style wooden pergola that holds climbing plants and brings shadowy spots to avoid the heat during the most intense months. Besides, 'txoko': a warm and cozy living room that includes a fully equipped kitchen with all modern devices.

It’s best to arrive to Granada via public transportation because of the difficulty when moving around the narrow streets. You cannot bring your car near the house as the whole neighbourhood is almost completely pedestrian. This contributes to the charm of the Albayzin. If you arrive from Granada Airport (18 km. south of Granada) take the airport-to-Granada bus which is only 3€ per person or take a taxi to Solar Montes Claros (around 30€). You can also use the metropolitan micro-buses, cheaper and hassle-free. Catch bus 31 from Plaza Nueva and get off at Sacromonte stop, only 100m away from the house.
