This beautiful apartment is located on the second floor (no elevator!) of a renewed building on the street Calçada do Conde de Penafiel, very close to the castle, Baixa and Alfama. Nearby you have various forms of traditional Portuguese commerce, and from there you can easily reach most of the popular sightseeing spots in Lisbon. From its windows you will enjoy one amazing view over Lisbon and the river Tejo. This sunny apartment has 85m2 and has been tastefully renovated to include: - a bedroom with double bed - a bedroom with 2 bunk beds - a living room with sofa-bed and dining area - a kitchen with all you need including electric oven and stove, fridge with freezer, microwave, washing machine - a fresh terrace communicating with the kitchen; It is perfect to rest and refresh after a summer day - a bathroom with shower. The apartment has air conditioning for cold and warm in the sitting room and the main bedroom. There are electric heaters for the other room.

Apartment is located at the Castle St. Jorge district. St. Jorge is located in the hills of the historic centre of the city and is one of the main historic and tourist sites of the city. This location has easy access to Baixa, the Castle (St. Jorge) district and also to Alfama and to Santa Clara, where Lisbon's flee-market (Feira da Ladra) takes place. It is also close to some of the stops of the famous tram number 28. This is a scenic route crossing most of the tourist neighbourhoods of the city centre. A definite must for any visitor to Lisbon. From Baixa you can easily access the nigh life district Bairro Alto and the smart Chiado, with all his theatres, museums, elegant and traditional shops, bars and restaurants. To the other direction, going up street, you will accede Graça and Santa Clara the place where Feira da Ladra (Thief's market ), the flea market.

  • The rates above are for groups up to 2 persons. Price increases 5 euros for each additional person (applicable to children older then 8 years old). When staying longer than 7 days a 10% reduction will be applied, 20% when longer than a month.
  • A deposit of 30% is required to confirm the reservation. Balance of 70% required to be paid on arrival with the delivery of the keys. Check in after 2:00 pm and check out before 11:00 am. Other arrangements possible if no other guests are coming in / going out the same day. Extra housekeeping can be arranged.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any reservation requests at our own discretion.

Excellent Apt. ikn Central Lisbon.

The apt. is ideally located between Baixa, Castello and Alfama, also within easy but uphill walking distance from Rossio.
It was well maintained and nicely laid out, but in the kitchen you have to be careful about an easy-to-overlook step, and the bathroom should provide more space to put things.
The apt.'s greatest asset is the stunning look from the living-room windows over the city and river.
Previous visitors had problems with neighbours over noise but we didn't.
A 'Must' for us on the occasion of our next visit is a dinner again at the 'restaurant Resto' in the Chapito. up the hill and then right.
Overall, we would love to return and would always recommend the apt.

Location, comfort and accomodating!

This two-bedroom apartment was a perfect, central location for exploring Lisbon. Close to stores, transportation, sites and restaurants. Once you familiarize yourself with the neighborhood it is very easy to get to the most popular locations: pedestrian mall in Barro Alto & Chaido, Castelo Jorge, Alfama market, the waterfront, etc.
The view to the water was a joy to watch the sunset or the sunrise! The beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious, the bathroom clean, and the kitchen fully furnished. Only the microwave did not work, but we didn't really need it. It was great to have a washing machine and plenty of space to dry clothes on the back patio or in the bathroom. As long as you closed the windows the street noise was not loud.
The reservation process and management was very accomodating and helpful. Vanessa even walked us to the store to make sure we knew where to go, extremely helpful when you are first learning to navigate this winding city. It was lovely beginning the first evening with a complimentary bottle of Vinho Verde.
I would highly recommend this apartment!

Fantastic apartament

This is wonderfull apartament with fantastic view. It is in center old Lisbon, a very close to fantastic restaurants, old tramway and Castle.
I very recommend this apartament.
Next time I will reserve this same appartament.

Great view of Lisbon

We loved our stay in this apartment with a stunning view of Lisbon. Accurate description, the apartment was clean, the beds were all made up for us, and we were even offered a bottle of chilled white wine in the fridge. Very friendly welcome, very easy to coordinate and communicate with the property managers. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and fully equipped, and the patio with a lemon tree was a nice touch. Only minor problems were: back bedroom door does not shut; bathroom door does not lock; not great water pressure. Still, would definitely return and recommend this to others, and very easy transaction all around. Thank you.
