This is a second floor apartment in a new development overlooking Whitby Marina. The apartment offers a secure underground car park and there is a lift from the car park to the second floor. The doors in the apartment are wide enough for a wheelchair. The apartment is a short walk from the centre of Whitby and the beach. The apartment is on one level. There is an entrance hall with large cupboard for storing suitcases, outdoor equipment etc. There is a twin bedroom and a double bedroom. The bathroom has a bath, overhead shower, wash hand basin and WC. The living / kitchen area is open plan with 2 sofas and table and chairs to seat 4. Whitby is a very popular seaside town attracting tourists all year around. There is plenty to do in the town and quite a few good restaurants as well as fish and chips. Take a hike up the steps to Whitby Abbey for some impressive views or simply take a walk along the beach. You can walk along the beach right to Sandsend a pretty seaside village a couple of miles from Whitby, there is also a golf course at Sandsend. There are also many other lovely fishing villages that are worth a visit and a short drive from Whitby, including Staithes, Robbin Hoods Bay and Runswick Bay.
