Why DON'T we charge ANY high seasonal rates?:
When our children were small we were always irritated by soaring rates for school holidays, Christmas time etc. Along with this, the airline always upped their charges too. We got tired of being 'ripped-off' as we saw it. It made holidays in the sun expensive for people like us who wanted a private apartment.
We swore if we ever had a place in the sun we wouldn't do that! Now we have a beautiful penthouse we have decided that we will charge the same LOW-COST all year round - even in the HIGHEST season.
So those who plan and book well ahead get an amazing deal for school holidays etc and, those that don't still get the best deal around - a PENTHOUSE apartment with private roof sun terrace for the price of an ordinary apartment...
Of course, we are told 'the holiday industry accepts 'tiered' pricing. They tell us we are just giving profit away. Well, it's 'credit-crunch' time so here is your opportunity for a great low-cost luxury holiday - at prices that you can live with..
Golf:
Within 2mins:
- Finca Cortesin
Opened October 2006. Superb American style course in elevated position. A very long golf course - one of longest in Europe. The 13th hole rated one of best in Andalucia. Jack Nicklaus Golf Academy Course. Finca Cortesin is home of 2009 Volvo World Match Play Championship. approx 80-100€'
- Casares Golf Gardens
Good value for money, 9 hole course. Suit all standards. Some interesting holes. approx 35€
Within 10mins:
- Dona Julia
Very new but very playable. Part of the Hyatt Hotel (currently under construction). Good for all levels.
Approx 40-60€ inc buggy.
- Almenara
Excellent value with 3 separate '9' holes, so always in good condition. approx 50-65€
- La Duquesa
Hilly course not ideal for beginners approx 50€
Within 20mins:
- Sotogrande
One of the oldest and most famous, wide perfectly manicured fairways and slick greens. Play it if you can. Approx 100-125€
- La Reserva
Sister course to the above
- San Roque(old)
Not a bad hole on this course. Expensive in high season but good value low season especially summer (there always seems to be a breeze!)
Approx 50-120€
- San Roque(new) Lots of bunkers! Cheaper than the old.
-Valderrama
This is as good as it gets! Ultimate golf in the Costa del Sol.
