Village house situated in a quiet cul de sac, where you can sit outside for alfresco dining and BBQ. Entering the house you have an open plan living and dining area with a log fire leading to a fully equipped kitchen. Stair case leads up to a landing with 2 bedrooms, one having extensive views of the black mountains. Fully fitted shower room is situated between the bedrooms. Another staircase takes you to a store room with views again of the black mountains.

Conques sur Obiel is a 20 mins drive from Carcassonne airport which is serviced by Ryanair. The village has 2 boulangeris,a bank, butchers, restaurant and a small super market. The village also has tennis courts and an open air swimming pool, open through out July and August. There is a wine cooperative in the village where you can go wine tasting, vineyards surround the village. There is a shopping complex ten minutes from the village. You will go past the Canal Du Midi on your way, driving through beautiful countryside. Taking you on to Carcassonne and La Cite, which is a world heritage site. There you will find shops cafe's and restaurants. Open air market on Wed and Sat every week. There are a number of other attractions taking place in the immediate area of Carcassonne. 20 mins from Conques is Lac de Caviere with beaches, picnic area's, swimming, fishing, pedalos and an adventure park. Another heritage site is the medieval Cathars castles
