The villa has been owned by the same family for now 3 generations. In an attempt to keep it we are renting the villa to those wanting to taste all that the Chianti region of Tuscany has to offer: peaceful scenery, wine and food, the gentleness of our people, an Italian vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the cities... Al Mandorlo is not just a beautiful villa in the heart of the Chianti Region: it was renovated to offer all the comfort you would need, it can accommodate from 6 to 11 people on a weekly basis, it is located near the beautiful city of Florence and close to Siena...

Al Mandorlo is a beautiful villa in the heart of the Chianti Region:it is located near the beautiful city of Florence and close to Siena, Montepulciano, San Gimignano and Pienza. Montepulciano is at a high altitude of 2,000 feet and can be seen from a distance with its redbrick buildings. Montepulciano has wonderful churches, public buildings and delightful atmosphere. San Gimignano is a medieval town that owes its famous skyline to the rival families who tried to outdo each other by building taller and taller towers. Of the original 76 towers only 13 still survive today. Pienza is a classic model of a Renaissance town. In the mid-15th century, Pope Pius II turned this out of the way hill town into a testing ground for the most advanced Renaissance ideas about urban planning. Strolling the streets of this village on a beautiful day is an absolute delight. San Gimignano is on the road to Florence from the villa (approx. 1 h)
