Set in 5 acres of private olive grove,almond and fruit trees, Bellanova comprises of 3 attractive buildings perfectly situated in tranquil countryside, yet only 10 minutes away from the beautiful towns of Ostuni and Ceglie Messapica. Recently restored the trullo and lamia are buildings unique to this area, built and lived in origianally by peasants, their old stone walls are around 1.5 metres thick. Traditionally furnished to a high specification,the trullo has 1 double bed and 2 single beds set within alcoves, a private bathroom and outside the original working pizza oven. The lamia has 1 double bed plus a good quality double sofa-bed with en-suite bathroom. A spacious villa (kitchen-diner) situated within the triangle of buildings, provides an all mod-cons kitchen,with large dining and lounge areas. It also has a log burning fire place. Patio doors lead to an expansive covered terrace with sofa seating. There is a plunge pool to cool off plus BBQ, perfect for the family.

The towns of Ostuni ' Citta Bianca' and Ceglia Messapica are only 10 minutes away with their beautiful historical centres, housing ancient churches, duomos and piazzas. Fantastic fresh ingredients can be obtained from their weekly markets, Ceglia (Monday) and Ostuni (Saturday). There are many excellent resturants in both towns, from pizzerias to more exclusive establishments. Tradional cooking with fresh seasonal produce is the norm. The baroque town of Lecce known as the Florence of the south is less than an hours drive and the quaint and pretty Trulli town of Alberabello is half an hour away. Alberabello is a UNESCO heritage site and a must for visitors. Sandy beaches are 20 minutes drive away and we can recommend many. Torre Guaceto is a nature reserve where activities like bird watching,diving and snorkelling can be pursued. The Masseria San Domenico, a golf course and spa is approximately 35 minutes away,near the small fishing village of Savelletri.

  • Once your holiday is confirmed, we will send you an email with our terms and conditions. A deposit of 30% of the total cost of your holiday will be required to secure your reservation.
    A refundable breakages deposit of £200 is paid at the time of the final balance (4 weeks before the start of your holiday, we'll email you a reminder) which will be refunded if no substantial breakages are reported.
    Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. We accept cheques and bank transfers.
    Our preferred changeover day is Saturday but we will consider other days out of the high season (July and August). Please email your requirements.
  • Rental rates include meet and greet in Ostuni and shown to the property plus 24 hour emergency contact.
    Property cleaned and Linen changed weekly.
    Upon request we can organize some food and beverages for your arrival.
  • For use of air conditioning or central heating a small weekly surcharge is levied.

  • The bathrooms in both Trullo and Lamia are brand new. They are both equiped with showers, toilets and hand basins. There is a washing machine in the trullo bathroom.

  • Bedrooms 1-3 are in the trullo with each bed within an open alcove. Bedroom 4 is private to the lamia in a single alcove, there is also a good quality double sofa bed available. We also provide a cot that can be put in either trullo or lamia. All linen is cotton.
