This luxurious apartment to rent in Nice is a wonderful large, light and airy space with sea views from every window. It's 110 m2 with in a listed building originally build by the Comte de Savoie in the early 1800's. It is a 3 large bedroom rental apartment, each bedroom has high ceilings and tall windows. The living room has two tall shuttered windows facing out onto the port where you can watch the yachts and fishing boats come and go. It is on the first floor and has its own private hallway off the main stairwell. This Nice Port apartment has been recently renovated in 2008 and is perfect throughout. The apartment has a widescreen plasma TV, DVD player, broadband and WiFi. The apartment is situated in a perfect position for enjoying a holiday in Nice or visiting the nearby Acropolis Convention Centre which is only 10 minutes max stroll from the apartment.

The apartment is dead centre in the Port of Nice on the first floor of an historic listed building. It has a line of wonderful mature Plane trees outside the door and you can watch the maritime world go by from the tall Nicoise shuttered windows. The walk to the old town is short and takes about 10 minutes, you can go by the sea around one of the most beautiful headlands on the riviera, or take a shortcut through amazing lanes and alleys of Nice Vielle Ville (Old Town). The buildings are medieval and remain unspoiled. From Nice port you can jump on a bus outside the apartment and travel to just about anywhere. Bus fares here are an amazing 1 euro for every journey regardless how far. The historic town of Villefranche Sur Mer is only minutes away, and the trip to Monaco takes only 25 minutes along the most beautiful coast you'll ever see. Nice port itself is full of great bars and restaurants, with a very lively English speaking yachtie crowd having fun.

Nice port apartment

Apartment was very roomy- 3 large double bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds.Great location for trams, buses, trains and beach(15 min walk around port). However it is on a main road which was very noisy at night. We had to have the windows open as aircon wasn't working. Also not enough plates for 7 of us to have breakfast- had to have croissant in a bowl! But holiday was great- lovely restaurants in Flower Market and beautiful beaches (although stoney). Very pricey as is all Nice but very memorable.

Yes the apartment is all action and can be noisy. This location is right in the centre of Nice Port overlooking the marina, and it's not for those looking for a very peaceful time, with the fab location comes the action and the subsequent noise from time to time.

Apologies about the plates, there was a new crockery set in a box on top of the cupboard but had been overlooked and had not been unpacked for you.

I'm very pleased indeed that you enjoyed the holiday, Nice and the whole Riviera is genuinely less about the accommodation and all about the place, which is incredible and very very beautiful.
