Recently refurbished in 2008 a traditional villa with a modern interior, perfectly situated directly opposite the large sandy beach at Luz and approx 30 paces from the private grassed garden gate to the beach, 3 double bedrooms 2 with French doors leading to privates secure garden, 2 bathrooms both with power showers, luxury fitted kitchen with granite work surfaces, dishwasher, washing machine, large open plan living/dining leading to terrace perfect for evening BBQs overlooking garden & beach. The villa is fully equiped for young children and we provide high chair, travel cots and stair gates.

Situated approximately 1 hour from Faro and easily accessible from all UK airports, Luz is approx 10 mins drive from the busy town of Lagos, an ancient port and market town full of traditional Portuguese charm and housing a number of historic buildings/landmarks, combined with a magnificent harbour, Luz Bay is located on one of the least spoiled coastlines of the Algarve, a tranquil treasure that retains its charm and remains low key due to the development restriction by the Parque Natural do Sudouste Alentejano e Cost Vicentina. The villa is ideally located to allow you to explore the warren of cobbled streets that conceal a myriad of shops, restaurants and a handful of bars. A palm fringed beachside promenade stretches from the sands to a miradouro beneath the village's church and an old fort. During the summer months there are a number of watersports run from the beach and the village offers tennis/sporting day camps for children of all ages

Golf Course: The villa is perfectly located for easy access to a number of excellent golf courses such as Boa Vista & Parque De Floresta

Sporting Activities: Luz has 2 tennis centres both running daily/weekly courses for children & adults. There are also a number of watersport activities available on the beach and a short drive away 'kite surfing' lessons and 'surfing' courses are available. Lagos marina provides a number of boat trips, including game fishing, or simple cave trips, Waterparks such as 'slide & splash' & Zoo marine are approx 40 mins away

We visited Luz for the first time this september with our 2 young children (age2 & 4) the villa has all you need for young ones and the garden is great place to play safely. the best thing for us was the location when we had enough (or rather the kids had) the villa was just there. The owners have young children as the supply of kids dvds was great for winding down to.

I have visited Luz a number of times but the location of this villa is truly unique, a deceptively spacious villa very private with luxury fixtures & fittings, I went with friends but it would be ideal for families with its private safe garden.
